That's not mentioning what's happening in the game is it?

a solid first half with a great finish from Pont. Home side have had some efforts but apart from the goal, not looked threating at all. Well deserved 1-1 at the break and with a typical MR team talk, we can win this

Since they scored they've barely had the ball and we've spent a lot of time camped in their half.

Unfortunately we're not looking very threatening with all of our possession. McNulty has been particularly wasteful, though he is getting into some good positions.

He's gone right off the boil these last few games.

entitled to your opinion. good news for you is you might only have 4.5 games left of this "lack of thought" and them you can start thinking about who we want next to start again

Believe it or not, I don't want to keep chopping and changing manager, but some of his decisions are laughable. I want to see us attack games and going for a win, not setting up to not lose. If we don't achieve at least play offs, the club have no option but to relieve him of his duties, as he will have failed.

They will let us pass it round all the back all day, it then ends up with an aimless attempt at a pass.

Jch has been anonymous, aside from the goal we haven't really threatened. Ponti and mcnulty the same.

Yes he had a purple patch for 15-20 games sandwiched by very average spells early on and as you say last few games

Pretty even first half. They haven’t done much since they scored. We haven’t done much since we scored. Both teams trying to play football in the glorious sunshine.

More than Crawley did down here.

That was total non-football that day.

Disagree. He came in just over a year ago, won us a cup, had a major clear-out and new signings, suffered some key long-term injuries, and we are very close to the play-offs. Definitely needs another season

At the minute he's a decent option to come on but as it stands more ponti or mcnulty to go off as we lose the limited chance of winning the high punts.

He would bring us a different option to go at them.

True. Was just thinking in terms of if he is having such a poor game he is offering nothing.
How's McNulty doing? It was his cross for the goal wasn't it. Has he done owt else since?

I can understand your comments, but its far too small of a tightrope. Come 8th and we have to let him go, come 7th and lose in the semi's and he can stay ?. We have to stick with someone for more than a season or so. He has built a team with people on more than 12 month contracts and we have only a few players out of contract this summer (all of whom could go without an impact)

Throw in Jones and Andreu injuries, and we have to keep him to carry on the work so far and give him a chance for next season as a minimum.

I’m only watching on I follow but seems a pretty dull game. Hopefully take the next step up second half. We should really have more chances on goal worth those three up front though.

Yeah it was a good ball in, done nothing since. Way too deep.

We are so frustrating to watch. I never feel like a counter attack will result in a goal

It's because we run it up there and we have to give it to Doyle, who then has to give it to Kelly or aimlessly loop it forward.

By then their players are all back.

Our formation first half that day was diabolical. They battered us first half. And it wasn't by hoofing it.

2nd half much better. With again a change in formation.

I think it's very brave to change formation away from home.

We on here knew the danger of their fullback and every team that plays us look at who our left back is and if it's Haynes the full back pushes up on him! Bring Reid on for either PontI Or Mcnulty we need to get some width and block up the left hand side at the same time. Having Reid on the left will also pull one of their centre backs over to the right hand side of their box which should open a gap for either Bayliss of Doyle to exploit
