I wish SISU had abdicated before 2 or 3 years ago

No but we can ask him this Friday if the rumour is true, can't we?

We can....... I hope someone does as, if there is no investment, we are down. I'm interested to know how he expects a new Commercial Director to function in the present circumstances. If it stays as it is the product- team - is not good enough for this league ( according to Venus ). Which company is going to book corporate hospitality to see constantly embarrassing performances? How many fans are going to renew their season tickets knowing the team is not good enough? What is the sales pitch for the Commercial Director?

Say that you may get chance to manage the team in January

God I talked some shit last night, my only excuse I was very drunk.
Wife's birthday and the daughter son and girlfriend came home for the weekend.
Didn't even know who the current pope is, disgraceful.
Sorry about that

Fair play to you Reverend for having a wife and a girlfriend

I thought you may have had a few, when you were talking popes and sleeping
In th Vatican, when a reverand is a member of the Christian clergy.
Unless we had another abdication on our hands.:)

Been away from here for a while, but still keeping tabs on what is going on.
Getting back on topic, I do believe something is about to happen as Malaka has hinted. I believe SISU's exit plan started in the summer. For whatever reason, TM failed to get his transfer targets through the door. Those that he did get, are inferior to those we lost, and why were some players only contracted until January? . Costs were kept to an absolute minimum. TM walks and Venus comes in with no sign of anyone taking over the managers role from outside. Ryton is going to be sold. Then the JR appeal is lost. Talk of moving the training facility to Woodlands. SISU are backed into a corner, and I honestly believe, 2017 will commence with new owners/investors who will bring in a new manager. Nothing else makes sense. Financially SISU may benefit from the sale of Ryton and a couple of players. As to where we will end up playing ie Butts, Ricoh who knows. CCC will still play a huge part in this. If they turn full circle and fully support new owners which I hope they would do, then SISU no doubt, will have another reason to go to court. Add to this that TF is scheduled to speak on CWR this Friday, can we expect a major statement on the clubs future?

There is always stuff going on in the background. Sisu have been looking for a way out for years. I would think over those years that there have been a number of approaches we are not aware of - just a guess nothing more.

In the past when something has been about to happen Sisu have gone off the map and fisher been more assertive in his approach. Does that mean something is going on now? It's anyone's guess. There could be but equally it could be nothing.

Still curious why the trust approach for talks was met so aggressively. All that was needed was a "not for sale" but fisher went out of his way to attack and continue to attack. Does that mean they want us to look at the trust rather than elsewhere, that something is going on, something to hide behind, who knows.but the reaction is out of proportion to the enquiry

If there is to be new investment or a takeover then it has to be the right investment or new owner. Taking the approach that anyone other than Sisu is ok actually isn't ok. Further it will be Sisu choosing who they do business with and how, frankly I have no faith in their decision making and am pretty sure it will be driven by the needs of their investors not the club.

I would also think that any deal would be property based with the club being an add on. That will mean relationships have to be repaired and built who ever is involved - including Sisu

One thing I would be wary of would be characters from the past being involved in a new set up. But that's just my opinion nothing else.

None of this is a comment on malaka or anyone else reporting what they have been told. If nothing else they have created a glimmer of hope in hopeless times

Is something going on ? Possibly but .......

A takeover is wishful thinking in my opinion, nobody wants it more than me but if it's happening as we speak whoever is keeping the lid on it is performing a minor miracle. The fact nowt is dripping out other than these Malaka bits and pieces tells me nothing is happening

Sadly no, I wouldn't have thought so, just more of what we have become accustomed to,Live
within our means, commercial confidentiality...blah blah, two plots identified blah blah blah...
Fans need to support the club, blah blah.
Personally I'd be very surprised if we know anymore post interview as we did before. Hopefully
I'm wrong though.

Yo, all been said before though not collected together & expressed so succinctly.
PS Wonder if Director MV is fully briefed on the strategy ;)
