Mowbray has gone (1 Viewer)

Nope, it probably doesn't, but as I have said before (many others having said the same too), Sisu don't choose the formation of the team. Sisu don't choose the tactics or pick the 11 that go out there on the field of play.

Sisu don't make the substitutions and Sisu don't pick the physical size of players we bring to the club.

Sisu don't change the tactics during the game.

We simply can't think like this, because if we did we would be saying that no manager can ever be crap for us and the truth is, obviously they can be.

For all Sisu have done wrong, Mowbray has made many mistakes too as well as soke odd decision making.

Fine if we can't attract the quality of player we want. Fully get people blaming Sisu for that, but they didn't go out and bring slim players lacking physical attributes to the club. TM could have gone for physicality, he didn't.
TBF you have to be given the tools to do the job and the finances. Players sold from underneath you, the situation at the Ricoh cant be a tempting prospect for up and coming players or managers. There is no stability, consistency or plan. The club is a basket case.

Why can't you accept he is just being honest and honourable when he says he wouldn't take money owed he would rather see it stay with the club who haven't got a lot of money for them to reinvest?
Because that doesnt sit well with his way of thinking

Well glad to see those on here that were bleating got what they wished for.
As evo and others have said changing the manager isnt the quick fix answer to this mess. I will remind one or two of you in 12 months time when you are moaning about the new poor bastard who believed the sisu bullshit and came here.

12 managers in 9 years under these clowns doesnt lie.
Rip ccfc

Why do you think this is a CCFC / sisu issue. You are aware both he and Pressley have had longer than average by football league standards don't you?

And we have worse than average people running our club. And have had for many years. Yet the excuses come out for all of them :(

What fucking good does it do bleating about the Richardsons & Robinsons of this world when their poisonous influence has long since departed this football club?
.

But that's the thing. Their "influence" continues to be felt by the Club and they're the catalyst; the reason why we are where we are with SISU. Obviously, SISU are at fault for the majority of our problems, but SISU wouldn't be here if Richardson et al hadn't have sold us down the river when they sold Highfield Road. To deny that is being naive.

You are an idiot, need proof? Read the above

The new guy will probably get some improvement because that often happens when there's a change of manager. The fact is though that as a consequence of SISU's shambolic management of the club over many years, we can now only attract poor quality managers.

Tragically the long term decline of this club can only continue under these owners and that is because they have never had a credible vision of how to make the club a success.

I like the guy and I'm sad that its not worked out for him, but the stats speak for themselves. This year and this season has been a disaster, and for the shiteness of our owners, Otis is right in that the on field stuff and performances largely come down to him.

A player has told me has has left. Whether he has told SISU is another matter
Did the players say that TM told the players together in the dressing room after the game?

Blimey, of the 4 teams immediately above us, we have drawn with 3. At that rate you wonder where a win will come from.

I can show you a table that shows Togo are 100th in the fifa list of international teams is that just because their manager is shit?

I don't care if you contradict yourself or not.

It's rather obvious that Coventry City FC were royally fucked way before SISU were invited to join the party. Aspirations only belonged to the shortsighted, or those that lack the acumen you spoke of earlier.

Score lines come and go. Mowbray was already a fucking messiah this time last year. What happened after Christmas? The SISU factor?
No. He lost the plot and Armstrong dried up.
Kids got tired and we had no replacements... Simples

Be nice if he told the whole story of what is going on within the club, warts an all. He owes SISU nothing. But then again he will be looking for a new job and owners of football clubs don't like honesty. Good look to him nobody will do any good here till the shit at the top has left.

No, that is because they can only pick players from Togo.

We are in league one and should be on par with at least 70% of this league.
You really don't get it do you?
What percentage of blame would you apportion to Sisu Nick?

If any manager we have is completely blameless, let's just put a cardboard cutout of Mourinho on the bench, cross our fingers and pretend that absolutely nobody can improve on 0 wins in 10.

You can be rest assured I am an honest person, just relaying what I have been told. I hope that TM reflects on what he has told the players and changes his mind.

It depends what we are blaming for.

Academy, Ricoh etc or the tactics?

What people don't seem to get is that we are a league 1 club! It is all well and good bleating about not being able to sign amazing players, how many league 1 teams are signing these big name players?

The bloke who absolutely hammered our defence last night was a freebie from Shrewsbury, his replacement who has scored 5 in 7 was a freebie from Oldham. They had both been brought in with a clear job to do, to play to their system. The league's top scorer is a bloke who was on a free from Bradford.

Its getting like real politics on here, saying we are in the shit because of the previous government. Look at Leicester, they had issues like ours sunk into administration and last year they won the fucking Premier League!
Maybe because they had owners who run a football team not squabble with every one.

TM put together a team last year consisting of:
Armstrong
Vincelot
Cole
Fleck
Maddison
Johnson
Murphy

At Christmas we were in a great position but the young players started to burn out and the inevitable injuries hit.
The squad needed strengthening in January, SISU received at least £2 million for Maddison, if a fraction of that had been released to Mowbray in the window we would have we would have gone up as champions.
Some one said a lot of our fans are deluded, he was spot on with that, nothing will change under our current owners regardless of who is manager.

You missed off Billionaire, I very much doubt they would be where they were without that whether they squabbled or not.

We wouldn't have gone up as champions, Wigan were on fire.
