Jordan Clarke being applauded by Pressley again! He really loves him and Connor doesn't he!

I think JC is doing okay. But CT needs taking out for a while IMO, needs to build up again.

Yes he does need taking out for a while. A very long while if it was down to me, along with Daniels. What do they offer us???

I don't know why we persist with Daniels, never seen anything in him.

CT started well, early last season I think? Maybe the season before IIRC, then got worse

I just mean, take em out, build them up, and then see if they still under perform. Then go from there?

I managed to get 20-1 on preston, barnsley and cov at half time......Laughing all the way to the bank!!!

Glad we got the win tonight but im still worried about our inability to hold the ball and create pressure in the first half of games. We seemed to have the nack of keeping it tight at the minute which is nice but we cant keep inviting pressure like we have been.

Fair play to you for making the effort (along with an amazing 500+ for a JPT game) I will gladly buy you a pint if we ever meet.

They might only be young, but with these two I just can't see them improving. No matter how much time out they get

Maybe. I see what your saying. I'm only saying rather that sticking with them/ giving up completely, the coaching team can help them improve in someway?

I'd like them to do well; always good to see academy products make it in the game. Just think they're beyond that. Wish I could sound more positive about them, but I can't

Christ, playing out from the back nearly caught us out on numerous occasions.

Pretty much all of WW attacks came from giving up possionm and an alarmingly high number of passes played across our own box.

Still a win is a win. Coulibaly impressed most.

Wow how did we win that.

It must have been the most one sided game I have seen in a long while, we were awful one attack one goal admittedly a good goal but christ were were woeful.

We really need to do some thing about our non existent midfield 2 games in a row we have had no creativity, and look lost as what to do with the ball.

Good win though defence seems better even though we did have 10 in the box.....

Enjoyed watching tonight with an old mate from Wycombe. Lee Burge's kicking scares the wits out of me though. Woeful.

We're defending 10 fold better than last season, it may just be a case of time in finding the best combination of midfielder/strikers/wing backs before we click going forward.

Best songs so far, my favourite was, "1-0 to the under 9's" and "he's got school in the morning". Listened on the radio sounded like a really good turn out by the sky blue army. :claping hands:

the defensive stability is getting better and that was our priority.

as SP says, fluency in play will come and hopefully that will lead t omore efforts on goal in each game.

i wanna win the JPT! easy home draw next please!

Agree with pretty much all that. The goal we scored was a wonderfully crafted and taken, however totally unkeeping with our performance. Hopefully the result doesn't mask the worrying fact that we were outplayed by a mid ranking Division 2 side. I thought Jordan Clarke had a pretty decent performance and certainly looked more assured than he does at right wing back.
Like you say the midfield looks totally devoid of creativity and indeed quality. Thomas and Daniels who both try hard and are fit and athletic, but both failed to show any real quality. The only positive is that we seem to be getting decent results without playing particularly well, hopefully the performance levels will improve.

Jordan was probably our man of the match never gave an inch think he only got beat a couple of times.
TBF thought he was one of our best players against Swindon too.

Defending good yes, but TBF when you have 9 players in your own box does make it hard for the opposition.

Dreadful to watch luckily they never had a decent striker out there last night..

They must have had 30 shots to our 4, and 80% possession in our half of the pitch.

According to the sky sports app (if it's to be trusted at all) they're saying Wycombe had 70% possession and 10 shots (1 on target) to our 3 (1 on target). Along with 8 corners to our 1. Although I'm pretty sure we had more than 1 corner!

How do they work out possession stats. BBC report says we had 52 percent.

They must have had 10 shots in the period after our goal alone one hit the cross bar one good save there's 2 to start with?

Definitely only one corner I can remember.
