City didn't create any chances at mk dons and also looked lost.We certainly need to be able to change formations in a game if it's not working.

Get in!!

McQuoid adds to his tally with a solid finish

Ball played from Willis to Swanson, Swanson runs forward despite being tugged, ref plays advantage, he finds Pugh in an advanced position who fires a first time cross into the box for Mcqiuod to finish.

Pugh is quite good at this left wing role after all

What a ball by Pugh drilled into the corridor of uncertainty! Tucked into the roof of the net with aplomb!

Pugh doesn't suit this wing back position at all. If he's gonna play he needs to be in a flat back four as a LB. Offered us nothing down the left and whilst there is no winger in front of him we're wasting a lot of possession as there's a lack of options

I said this after I saw Haynes come on vs Cardiff

Doesn't seem to me that he has the pace or stamina anymore to get up and down the left wing as required. I'd get Haynes back in for Friday

That's the only criticism I have of Ryan Haynes. Doesn't always need to put in high balls. Especially until we have a target man up front.

In a nutshell no but we've looked a lot better since the break. Plus the referee has finally used the disappearing spray.l! It seems that this is the reason many fans have travelled here tonight..the simple things in life

Got to agree that Haynes has looked more accomplished sting that role than Pugh.

"They called him McWank, now he's a tank, walking in a Josh McQuoid wonderland"

This on Friday.

Or not

As this is the pisspot JPT Trophy, am I right in saying it's just one more round after this and then Wembley?

I know people don't take this cup seriously, but we have a genuine chance of winning it. More than the FA or League cup. So I don't understand why people wouldn't be pleased or want Cov to win it?

Don't see SP changing the formation anytime soon. He wants all levels of the club to be playing the same way so that players can drop into the first team and know the job they have to do. Chopping and changing depending on the opposition will just spread confusion.

When we have an established team at the top of the EPL, we'll have the players and experience to adapt to circumstances
