Why NO Protests outside the Council House? (2 Viewers)

You, Sir, are most boorish and rude. You can stuff your lack of manners up your arse.

That may well be. But I don't believe using made up bollocks as facts should be allowed in an argument. I'll withdraw the 'stick it up your arse' but I won't stop repeating "your facts are made up"

ALL I repeat ALL parties are at fault but why no protests of ACL (who initially applied to put us into admin. & also got us deducted 10 points by not signing the CVA)?????????????????????

The acts of putting the club into administration, and not signing the CVA are both due to ACL's directors following their lawful responsibility to act in the best interests of their business. They have to do this.

If you want to complain, do so at those who were unable to finance the club's own stadium; and became reliant on third parties - be it CCC or ACL - to finish their stadium for them.

As once there's a third party involved, and that's a company run by directors, then they have to act in it's best interests. Surely we've discussed this so many times now? It's like a kid asking why it's their bedtime every night...

More than 'more than likely' I would guess. If a High court judge doesn't even let Sisu's Judicial review case land on his desk before throwing it out because he knows their game, I'd say it's a given...

At your own risk. You can say it's a given all day. But it's not. I'm not bothered by that anyway.
I'm bothered by winking smiley italic smug bloke spouting non facts as facts.

I'm perfectly fine with "I'd say it's a given". Plenty of outs if it gets proved wrong.

Why has no one suggested a protest outside the council house to force Ann Lucas to do all she can within her power if she is a so called CCFC fan to ensure her CCFC are plying their trade at the £117M stadium that was partly funded by the people of coventry?

I want to know what Sisu has offered first.
I believe they have made an absolutely stupid offer and refuse to budge.
If they have made a fair offer why not say? Once the offer is known and considered reasonable the blame moves to the other foot. Then protest against the council/ACL.
I suspect because Sisu have not said that I am right on the dismal offer.

He doesn't want to get into it because, yet again, it's speculation and can't be quantified. You are making up 90%. So again. Open that arse.

That's my opinion, 100%. You really are one of the wankers that make this place so unreadable with your twattisms.

When did I say anything was a fact? Get a grip of yourself, man, you're sounding more foolish by every post.

My feelings also. When I know what to protest about I'll happily protest outside the council house.

However im not going to protest against the council based on liar Fisher's word.

Yeah let's protest outside the council offices. Ms Lucas we fans want you to offer to speak with Sepalla - What do you mean you have at least twice? We want you to arrange the rent to be reduced to a "realistic" offer - what do you mean you have twice?

Err well we need to protest against the council because....... well protesting outside the Fl offices and sisu's offices hasn't worked, so like the peoples front of judea we will protest outside the council - that will show sisu!

Have a word with yourself!

The reason why there has been no demo (outside the council house or wherever), against ACL/CCC, is there is no passion for it.
The reason why there was a march through Cov, against SISU, of approx. 5000 people, was because there was a great passion for it.

My overview of this entire episode is that of a Hostage situation. Sisu have kidnapped our club, and are holding it hostage 34 miles away, in some floodlit prefab.

Those that attend games (Paying to get in the ground) and those that would like to see club and stadium reunified, even if it is Sisu, are the ones that would pay the ransom without objection.

Those that would rather play hardball and opt for a more attritional approach are the NOPM camp.

Proud to be in the NOPM camp.

I just struggle with the idea that NOPM will starve SISU out. If the end game is absolute liquidation of the club, there will not be a club to play at the Ricoh. SISU will liquidate every asset possible.

Any phoenix club would have to try and find a benefactor who is willing to bankroll a complete rebuild of the squad & buy out ACL. All probably on sub 5k gates as Coventry fans clearly demonstrated their loyalty to the team through thick and thin on relegation from the Championship.

Well said LB87, more should be done to force the council into doing some deal to get the club back in the city, but blinkered people don't see this.

they Instigated admin proceedings no matter what anyone says on here, so what if Fisher said what he said, we lost 10 points as we were approaching the play offs which would have been good for ACL if we'd been promoted it would have meant higher rental income for Championship level football, they then rejected the CVA again meaning another 10 point loss, we would be in the play off spots again, but no were 23rd , they refuse to sell to SISU who are going nowhere,

In my eyes CCC/ACL have had far too much say over their tenants business,

Get the boys back in Cov, we should have a nopm for Council Tax til the boys come home lol:claping hands:

PUSB.

talking of blinkered the ccc/acl/higgins did not put the club in administration, they threatened too and then shitsu put themselves into administration for a debt they owed themselves. how could it have been good for acl? shitsu wouldn't accept any of the new rent offers so how would they have got a higher rental for championship football. sorry but that's just nonsense. they didn't reject the CVA again, they rejected it once along with HRMC and yes that did cost us 10 points but they only cost us 10 points once along with HMRC (perhaps you should go on NOPM on your income tax too) the 1st 10 point deduction (last season) was because we went into administration so that was the fault off whoever put us into administration and encase you didn't catch on the 1st time i will just remind you that, that was shitsu so blame them.

i hope they never sell to shitsu. their is some rose tinted view that if shitsu own the ricoh that the club will own the ricoh. i will believe that when i see it. they will be the clubs landlords and that is not worth thinking about.

you need to ask yourself, if shitsu ran a nursery would you drop your kids of their, i wouldn't.

Newport have done it.
Wimbledon have done it.
Chester have done it.
Rangers have done it.

If this doomsday scenario does occur (Which, by the way, would simply highlight the spiteful nature of the organisation we are dealing with) I suspect there will be a benefactor/consortium waiting in the wings. I know he's an idiot, but if Joe Elliot announced his intention to head a consortium I would be a lot more comfortable with this and would far sooner it than retain the current lot we have. Given the media/fans/forum attention given to the rent, surely ACL would have to offer favourable conditions to any incumbent football club. The immediate priority for any new owners must be to unite club & stadium though.

This proves you are a Sisu rent boy and/or fisher/joy. How dare you not be totally one sided. This forum is finished for me.

Thank fuck for that. Take your deluded cronies with you.

But there again you mainly chat shite so will stick around to stop threads where the truth shows what your beloved SISU are doing to our club.

There should be protests outside the council house, they are just as much as responsible for us being in Northampton as SISU. Lets protest until we are heard.

The council are at fault as they should give the Ricoh Stadium to SISU for free.
Although SISU have actually put nothing in to the infrastructure because they are the main customer it should be given to them.
Now food and beverage. I know Sisu have put nothing into setting it up but on 25 days a year of 365 they are the main customers so they are entitled to everything going on in the other areas of the complex. ACL belongs to Sisu.

Yea right. Anybody who believes that is a moron. Get SISU out they are business scum.

So the fact that once liquidated the club has no more debt wont have an impact? There will inevitably be a further points reduction, but anyone taking over will have a fresh slate, the ability to renegotiate the rent, and once sisu are gone, any new owners will take on the prospect of buying the arena!

Sisu have shot their bolt with regard to buying the stadium. New owners, clear of debt, how can you not see this is in the long term best interest of the club?

Not directly, but by saying the Council are equally to blame you are effectively saying because they didn't give in to SISU we should protest against them.
The majority of people know that SISU need the Ricoh for less than it's worth and are using there business skills to do that.

Why do you always add an insult when someone disagrees with you ?

As I have said many times, this football club needs to maximise its revenue streams 100%, revenues based on Football Events, including F&B, now this might not be a huge sum, but every penny counts. Do I think this is wrong CCFC isn't entitled to this revenue? Sure, it's not the fault of SISU however this is the fault of the previous owners who sold these rights off (Which whoever thought that was smart needs looking at).

We should protest against both sides.

I don't always, but if you came across in a better way instead of sarcastic and putting words in my mouth then you might get a nicer response.

My belief on the Ricoh is that it should be united with the club, do I believe they need all the revenues (Exhibition centre, casino, hotel, etc?), no I don't. The club needs all the Football Generated Revenue, including F&B no matter the size.

SISU want the Arena we all know that, do they want to pay over the odds? No, they want to pay what they feel its worth which will be lower then the councils estimation.

It's only verbal diarrhoea to those with a differing opinion which is probably most, but I am not speaking for a majority it's my own opinion.

your right the club needs to be united with the ricoh, but you and others keep confusing shitsu with the club. the club wont own the ricoh, shitsu will. its not the same thing. they will be the clubs landlord and the club will be the tenant. the land lord will know exactly how much rent they can obtain from the tenant and will take every last penny.

be careful what you wish for, its very likely the club would end up in a much worse place than it was under ACL as land lord. only this time no one at the club is going to complain, put the club on rent strike, there will be no negotiation, the club wont be making statements about the unfair situation, nikki Sinclair will be nowhere to be seen, people will be asking ann lucas why the council sold the ricoh to shitsu and we still wont know what joy diversion looks like.

What other choices are there? Stay at Northampton or wait 5 years for SISU to build a ground when there is a suitable one in Coventry?

I am not a huge fan of the Ricoh, if I could I would kick the people who live on the patch of Highfield Road and resurrect it brick by brick, this can't happen.

So the Ricoh it is, it's most important that a) We return to Coventry, b) we own our own stadium, c) we get rid of SISU. In that order.

Lets weigh it up. In ACL's hands the Ricoh may go unused and potential unfulfilled as a sporting venue, after all the hopes and expectations for the place for it to be a white elephant would be beyond depressing, considering we sacrificed our sacred home for it.

In SISU's hands the Club returns, I wouldn't want to see the club own the whole of the Arena, just the Footballing aspects that the club can use, do they need the Hotel and so on? No! Yes the trust is an issue with SISU, but it can work two ways, a) like everyone predicts they can fuck us over, b) They could feel that they have more chance of a valuation for the club being matched and SISU getting out if the chose to sell altogether.
