Think some are overestimating the amount the club will receive from this.

60k tickets at an average price of £30 is £1.8m.
45% of that is £810k.
Then there are costs to deduct.

Decent pay day but certainly not the £1m+ figures being thrown about here.

It seems strange that people keep going on about the thousands of Coventry fans who refuse to go to Sixfields, but choose to go to away league/cup matches are being criticised for not adopting a 100% NOPM campaign.
And yet SISU have effectively chosen a NOPM partly towards CCC, seemingly happy to forgo thousands in lost income at the Ricoh, as it means SISU don't have to give any money to ACL/CCC. SISU appear absolutely determined not to give an inch, and yet they have recently quite happily opened a club shop in Coventry, and thus are presumably paying Coventry Council business rates. What has happened to SISU's very own NOPM campaign against Coventry Council????

The prices might be even lower, last time round it was £10 in the lower tier, £20 in the upper tier (£5 and £10 for concessions) for both home and away fans. Now obviously its a weekend game and the FA Cup rather than the League Cup but they might decide to go low to make sure the ground is full.

This was their team v Bradford

I would suggest the one which plays us will be equally as strong, but not miles better

  • Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Wilshere, Ramsey (Rosicky - 69), Cazorla, Coquelin (Chamakh - 60' ), Podolski (Oxlade-Chamberlain - 69' ), Gervinho

pisses me of big time. i'd love to go but just cant do it. i'm an FA cup good luck charm too, every away FA cup game I've been to we've won. alright its only 1 but it was at Vile Park so its an important 1. might make the trip down for a protest march though. by any chance is there a hill at the side of the emirates

be good if we could protest outside the FL offices in big numbers and then go to the emirates and have more singing outside than in. for the record i would gladly shake the hand of anyone and everyone going in and its an important message too that we wont be divided and conquered.

Arsenal Away.

Funny how NOPM has gone from the most important cannon in our arsenal (pun intended) to an insignificant little distraction. If hypocrisy was a smell, this place would reek.

So if it changed to NOPMFHG (for home games) would you be happier? Get the fuck over it. You choose to go to sixfields. Others dont. Some choose to go to cup away games. Others dont.

Whether that is branded NOPM or not does it matter?!?! No. Find something else to wank over.

Wank over? Get a grip.

Yes of course people will choose to, I hope thousands go. It is like walking around shouting "I will never eat beef" but then having burgers on saturdays.

What an amazing analogy. Congrats!

Get a grip of what exactly? I am not the one crying because people who support the concept of NOPM want to go to an away cup game.

It is exactly the same, it just shows that the people who were foaming at the mouth (not all fans) shouting how they would never give those thieves / crooks a penny of their money again are slowly dwindling.

I'm hardly crying, just stating the obvious.

selected amnesia?! Is that a medical term?

Why are you all crying so much over it?! I really don't get it. Just because you have 1 view of NOPM doesn't mean every other person in existence has to follow your lead.

I must have got confused. I didn't actually realise that Not One Penny More didn't actually mean not one penny more. My mistake.

Because it is just a name.

Are the only people allowed in the "Labour" party those who do manual work and women who are giving birth?

If you are stating the obvious it does not need stating? So like I have said several times, build a bridge. NOPM obviously means different things to different people. That doesn't mean everyone has to bow down to your view of it does it?

Nobody is crying? The only person crying is Tim Fisher with laughter while all of the people foaming like a rabid dog at the start of the season, abusing him and chanting about not giving him money hand over their money to him.

I have never said bow down to my views? It is just funny how now we have some decent FA cup games NOPM means slightly different things to different people.

Talking of attitudes changing - don't I recall that you've now attended Sixfields?

Oh and before you ask, I won't be going to Arsenal.

Yep, I do. However I wasn't rabidly calling everyone scum and a scab for not going and ending every post with "I won't give a penny to SISU"...
