Mostly it seems to be against things he says.
What they need to realise is that freedom of speech is one of the most important US rights, and is enshrined in the US constitution.

Trump is a fucking moron. He claims fake news when he get caught out even though there’s recorded evidence of him saying stuff. I can’t believe anyone in this country actually takes him seriously and cannot see that he views the UK and our position as something to exploit for America’s gain.

Isn't protest the only way the general public can engage with politicians, I'm sure there will be plenty waving the stars and stripes as well. What of Boris, he made a very damming comment about Trump not being fit for the job, should he have held his tongue so as not to look hypocritical when it's lodged in Trumps backside.

We need the US as our ally. Do you not think it rather strange that Mr Corbyn has no issue with meeting terrorists who want to murder uk citizens and also rather unsavoury characters like Hamas and vile regimes like the Chavez dynasty yet as leader of the opposition boycotts the democratically elected leader of the most powerful western country in the world? Why just to get a few likes from some juvenile comrades?
Personally I don't think Corbyn has the slightest chance of ever becoming PM so don't believe him refusing to attend will have the slightest impact on our relationship with the US.

Similarly as I have no intention of voting for him I'm not really too concerned about who he was meeting with years ago. My bigger concern is who our current PM meets with, not to mention the Tory leadership candidates.

Are you really that concerned that Corbyn will become PM that this is a genuine issue for you?

Personally I find it delightful that there appears to be an outbreak of liberalism, an acceptance that all faiths should be embraced, and that people are allowed to worship whatever faith they like without prejudice.

I look forward to seeing more of that on some if the other threads that crop up around here from time to time...

The stat is irrelevant. It’s highly subjective

The issue is that Corbyn is an anti Semite of that I have no doubt. It’s ideological but it’s a fact. He worshipped Livingstone in the 80’s who is a known hater of the Jewish population.

This has never been an issue with labour until the hard left took it over now as they did in the 80’s. Jews are seen as the antithesis of socialism and a clear and present danger to socialism

Is the labour hierarchy more racist than the Tory hierarchy? I believe it is. It’s certainly more anti Semite and if they can’t win the equality battle then what can they win?

Not true that there wasn't a problem there were a multitude of complaints under Blair and there was even the case of the holocaust survivor getting kicked out of the conference by Blair's goons

The problem Labour has is there are those on one side screwaming anti semitism where there is none and those on the other side who can't help following up a genuine criticism of Israel without adding an anti Semitic comment so there's definitely issues

Labour should never have adopted the IHRA guidelines on antisemitism, it should never be considered bigoted to criticise a nations domestic and foreign policy. Guidelines which I may add would class many of the remarks made on here about George Soros as antisemitic.

No way Corbyn is an antisemite, he's stood against all forms of discrimination too many times.
Any MP that's cosied up to Viktor Orban however.........

I was talking to a mate earlier who happens to be gay and he’s called his wedding off that he and his partner had planned for next year off the back of the news from Professor Widdecombe that there’s a cure on its way.

Apparently the industry in America with the highest percentage of amputations is the the poultry industry. Looks like it’s not just the practice of washing the chicken that is responsible for America recording 100’s of deaths each year to salmonella poisoning (for reference the U.K. poultry industry recorded zero deaths due to salmonella poisoning last year) its their practices after the washing. Totally different standards at every stage. No thanks.

But how many go to the US for a holiday or on business and happily eat their chlorine-washed chicken & similar???

Chlorine washed chicken is not the way to go because it impacts on animal welfare and hygiene standards from the start to end of the process.

Chickens can live in shit and be carted off in filthy lorries because the producers know that they'll get bleached at the end of the process which renders them "clean" by U.S standards.

This is the same country that classes pizza as a vegetable and won't label sugar content on food labels because the government have been paid off by coca cola. So fuck them and their manky birds.

I may be in the minority here but I would love to have someone like Trump at Prime Minister.

He certainly wouldn't take any shit from the EU and it a lot less spineless than Corbyn, Khan, May et al.

Closest we have is Farage

Their health and levels of obesity are shocking, the UK doesn’t need any more of that imported. It makes me laugh how some go on about the EU and British identity, when British identity has become so Americanised with the important of their dumbed down culture.

Yeah great idea, let’s have a leader who openly lies and creates a climate where those reporting the lies are discredited.

And that’s not even starting on actual policies...

And Farage? Haha the same man with backbone who abandoned his own march down the country after a day and joined to lead it at the end haha how gullible can you get?

We've had no "shit from the EU" we've just been completely unprepared / unrealistic about what the reality is. It's all simple soundbites rather than a coherent evidence-based strategy, Farage is the same, not a shred of detail just a load of empty soundbites.

well Wilsman has a history of antisemitism and is one of the ones I referred to who cant make a valid criticism of Israel without throwing a snidey racist slur in behind it.

However, you also can't say his comments about the Israeli embassy being behind the antisemitism accusations are totally unfounded, do you remember the Joanna Ryan video where she was being offered bribes to 'destroy Corbyn' by Israeli officials?
