You mean he is not listening to, or sympathising with the noisey minority?

Most of our society values our links with the US & will show upmost respect to the position of US President (whoever that happens to be)! So maybe it is you that is out of touch with the true pulse of society?

Which links is it in particular that we value? Maybe its the way we treat the vulnerable, or maybe separating children from their parents at the border that is the one that does it most for you? Or there is the shared value of selling weapons to the Saudi's so they can blow people up?

Let's be honest - more people care about who wins Love Island than 'respecting the position of US President'

He is a man that treats the complexities of the world like an episode of the Apprentice.

I sort of agree with you, but it isn't really the point. Khan talked about Trump's policies whereas Trump made it a personal attack.

Trump is pointing out the facts (not in the way you want it). If Mayor Khans comments were: 'Unfortunately I'll won't be able to meet President Trump, as I need to continue deal with the knife crime issue in the capital'.

Trump would either not respond or if he did, it'll go something like this: 'Sorry we can't meet this, but continue good work you're doing'.

Maybe Trump should tell May to put some money back into policing after she stripped it all out.

I'm sure he will, but will she act on his advise? Answer: No. Why? Remember Trump suggest May should sue the E.U. She decided against as it was too extreme.

Oh and there's other thing could discuss with the outgoing P.M.

Thanks for that insight, what in particular?

Possibly his policies? His lies? His racism? His sexual assaults?

Your need to ask them. I don't like him personally but I don't know why people think he's significantly worse than Obama or Hilary.

I don't really see the point in a protest against a foreign President, why would the US give a fuck what Brits think about Trump.

Americans seem to love him and he also has a lot of Black supporters in the US, so that also undermines the protest.

I'll always defend people's right to.protest but personally I don't know what the point of this is.
But if people feel the need to then good luck to them.
I would rather have seen this sort of turn out last time the Saudis rolled in to town personally.

What's any of that got to do with him choosing to not meet Trump? Fair enough to dislike Corbyn on that basis but not sure how it relates to this particular issue.

If anything wouldn't it make it more likely he would want to meet Trump given Trump's past attendance at Sinn Feinn fundraisers?

We need the US as our ally. Do you not think it rather strange that Mr Corbyn has no issue with meeting terrorists who want to murder uk citizens and also rather unsavoury characters like Hamas and vile regimes like the Chavez dynasty yet as leader of the opposition boycotts the democratically elected leader of the most powerful western country in the world? Why just to get a few likes from some juvenile comrades?

He did - that’s why he has a general secretary that deals with that (although she is currently undergoing cancer treatment)

Only an idiot could generally come to that conclusion.

It’s still going on in labour though isn’t it,His mate last week being anti Semitic,Why doesn’t he come out to the press and root it out? And labour call themselves non racist... give me a break!

Do you think there's no anti semitism I the Tory party?
Which UK party was found to have the highest levels of anti semitism in the 2017 anti semitism barometer?

The stat is irrelevant. It’s highly subjective

The issue is that Corbyn is an anti Semite of that I have no doubt. It’s ideological but it’s a fact. He worshipped Livingstone in the 80’s who is a known hater of the Jewish population.

This has never been an issue with labour until the hard left took it over now as they did in the 80’s. Jews are seen as the antithesis of socialism and a clear and present danger to socialism

Is the labour hierarchy more racist than the Tory hierarchy? I believe it is. It’s certainly more anti Semite and if they can’t win the equality battle then what can they win?

If you want to fix a problem - coming out to the press to solve it is not the right way. As I have explained previously on a different thread, the issue of AS is highly complex. There is an issue in Labour - there is no denying it, but part of that issue is around education, and also its support for Palestine and a 2 state solution. There is also a very tiny amount of racist nutcases.

They will address it and sort it. The fact it is independent of the Leaders office makes the process more transparent.

Of course there is the small matter that Trump and Farage (those you worship) are far bigger racists than Corbyn could ever be. But the like the Tories on Islamaphobia (and anti-semitism) you’ll no doubt look the other way.

Fake news

Apparently the industry in America with the highest percentage of amputations is the the poultry industry. Looks like it’s not just the practice of washing the chicken that is responsible for America recording 100’s of deaths each year to salmonella poisoning (for reference the U.K. poultry industry recorded zero deaths due to salmonella poisoning last year) its their practices after the washing. Totally different standards at every stage. No thanks.
