You can’t tell if anyone is good enough till you see them play in the league, Frank and he’s coaches obviously see he has the potential to play there , time will tell.

He’s a great player to have in the PL squad. I do think some people believe we are going to have wholesale changes and that we need to line up at the end of August with a midfield comprised of the second coming of Xavi, Iniesta and Messi otherwise we are doomed…… could be a disappointing summer and traumatic season for anyone in that camp!!!!

Haha too right. We are 100 times more efficient now than under Sisu.

Good move extending Torp's contract. Could be very useful in the Premier League with his set pieces and technical ability. And at very worst adds some more value if he was to be sold within the next few years.

No problems with him extending loads of ability and is technically one of the better strikers of a ball we have. He is not on his own is the fitness level but set pieces as an impact sub its good we have him around. Also secures an asset going forward because he would have clubs interested if it was known he was available

He might still be but i don't think so. I've never understood anyone who thought Torp and Eccles had about an equal chance of going. Eccles had a good season, i'm not knocking him, but Torp has way more about him.
