Supposed to be going to London today and once again its absolute chaos and a string of cancelled & delayed trains.
If you have someone not drinking its a no brainer.Heading up to Sheffield next weekend for a stag do. £60 on the train per head or maybe £20-£30 between 3 of us to drive. Mad.

The common experience of knowing even before you've left the house you've spent somewhere between 1.5-5x more than it would have cost to drive and park, and that's even before you have to deal with the crowds, the delays, the cancellations, the replacement buses etcJust our train system in general.
