IMO, the biggest contribution Max makes is his ability to win most everything in the air and flick it on. McNulty got that and fed off it. Godden hasn't to date but I'm starting to see signs that he's gambling on Max winning the header and making a run. Godden will score more when they play together if he builds on that.

Football doesn't work like that!!! He scored the first goal in 2nd leg for crying out loud. And then the one that killed them off. Bayliss diesnt score 4th if max not scored 2 before him

It took him a good 6 months to get up to speed in his first season. He’d only been training once a week before signing for us.
once up to speed he was good for us in league 2. Then he got the bad injury and to be fair to him, he’s come back faster and stronger than before.
people are trying to look at what he was doing in his first 6
Months with us where he was full of effort but struggled.
Hes now a different player to that one. Thankfully some are happy to admit that they were a bit too quick to judge him. Not everyone mind!

It was a joke, it was already addressed.. Obviously the game would have played out differently.

The league form since arrival... Not a joke and as stated, very underwhelming

I don't underatnd our fans mentality, it's purely because he engages with supporters and baka doesn't and as showed has nothing to do with actual ability.

They do count but the league is where the goals are needed.

Win the checkatrade or get promotion which is it?

Baka outperforms biamou in the league and over the course of his tenure at a higher level mostly...

We all know he had a slow start, but since he scored his first league goal for us he has 19 goals in 51 appearances in all comps, with a big chunk of those off the bench.

That is a very good record.

It's very good, but his league return is not where it should be and that's undeniable.
Most players here are not afforded slow starts... Some wanted mcnultys head on a stake

I am in no way justifying it but a lot of fans made their minds up about Baka based purely on the bitter rants of Walsall fans when we got him. They then looked at his record, decided he didn’t score enough goals (not McNulty, is he?) and that was it.

I think Baka and Biamou have both got a role to play this season and if we do get promoted it will be up to Robins to decide if they have a future, but if not they would surely be able to find places at other L1 teams easily enough. Maybe Sunderland could take them to upgrade their forward line for next season’s attempt...

A bloke by us at St Andrews gives him absolute pelters constantly during a match
