I reckon that's a decent assessment, definitely need another winger, I'd pump some money there.

I also imagine Wilson will stick around as 3rd choice keeper, he seems a big part of squad dynamics no point rocking the boat and spending money there. Dovin really needs a loan so we'll still need 2 keepers minimum

With infinite money then sure you just buy Rushworth and pay him £50k a week but King keeps saying the we don't have that kind of money to throw around. Being hyper-critical we saw the nerves creeping back into Rushworth's game at the end of the season (as at the start) and this is what I mean about a proven PL player.

A loan won’t be free either. Far more financial sense to sign a young player who is likely to increase in value tbh.

Man City were ready to have Trafford as their #1 before the last minute Donnarumma deal.

Clubs would take Rushworth no doubt. If we have any chance of signing him at a reasonable price we take it.

Have a word with yourself. Burnley spent over £111 million. Admittedly they didn't spend it wisely which is why they are now screwed but there's no chance we only spend less than half that.
