True, true.Keeper would help I’ve got no doubt, yet team has 10 other plays to get past before. Can’t look at it in isolation completely, team close down etc etc there’s lack of shots. We’ve been bailed out by Rushworth plenty of times which I’m glad of, yet doesn’t always translate that way

That'd be a huge chunk of our likely budget though. With infinite money then sure you just buy Rushworth and pay him £50k a week but King keeps saying the we don't have that kind of money to throw around. Being hyper-critical we saw the nerves creeping back into Rushworth's game at the end of the season (as at the start) and this is what I mean about a proven PL player.If he’s available for £15m I’d snap their hand off. A loan won't cost £15m+ plus wages either. You need big money to make that kind of investment and to tie yourself to long contractsA loan won’t be free either. Far more financial sense to sign a young player who is likely to increase in value tbh.
