Now that is a coup.
Rolling Stones play the Ricoh
Looks like two price bands.
£60 standard, assume that's in the stands.
£250 for what they're calling the Golden circle.
Very apt for the Ricoh
Another load of has-beens looking for a last payday
.....and before you bite, I was a big fan of the Stones when they were young and i was young
Steps and Aqua at the Butts in June as well lol
Corrected for you...
I’d rather go to that than pay £250 for a long past it Stones.
Bit of sad agism going on here.
They're giants whatever their age.
Go for the cheaper seats which will be £60 - £95 then.
Well worth a try.
we already have centre back position well stocked, should go for aguero or kdb
I am sure they can still start me up.
First Carl Baker then the Stones, what a day for the oldies
And like the City they can make a grown man cry.
No need for a correction I wasn't talking about you.
£250 to watch a band for a few hours and yet people go ape shit about a season ticket which gives you 23 football matches at £299.
They won't be the same people.
Your on Mick Jaggers knee for £250. Your own seat will be I guess £60 or £95 on the pitch.
For the avoidance of doubt, as they say, I am older than Mick Jagger, but while I would have gone to see them in the 60s as they were, for a time, my favourite band, I wouldn't go now.
Where has this been reported, as all I can find is
London stadium x 2
Don't get sucked in by this. It's just the Wasps B team rolling stones around a stage for two hours. Eastwood is a cunning businessman.
It appears it hasn’t been announced officially, the CT seem to have had a tip off.
Which must surely, like every other scoop, come from on here.
Looks like St Mary's Southampton is also putting them on but not added to the relevant websites yet .
Edit :- Even Ricoh Arena aren't willing to confirm yet either.
Must be true, I mentioned it last Friday.
I did wonder why there was no Birmingham/ Midlands gig on
the original tour list, must have still been in negotiations.
Can't believe the negativity, I for one won't be going but I am just happy that the City has another highlight coming it' way and keeping it on the map.
It is like people just hate us getting anything.
So they are old but still one of the biggest bands in the world, and they are coming to our City and not Brum what is there not to like.
Said to the wife ten years ago that we must see the Stones before one escapes this mortal coil - they were fantastic - so here i am saying lets go again if we can get a ticket - bit like getting a forest green or Brighton ticket for the mighty Sky Blues !
If you’ve got your stub from Stevenage away this season you’ll be fine!
Do season ticket holders get priority?
Yes Wasps ST
Seen them before but I don't think the T shirt I bought then is going to fit me now.
Crazy though it is I reckon stuff they had 30-40 years ago would still fit, mine would although might have to take half an inch off the leg as the the cartelage has gone.
nice little pay day for our landlords
Thought you might mean that lovely Stones beer - Sheffield Gold!
Now that would have been a coup.
... and a great day again for promoting the city of Coventry.
The next five years will be very important for it.
That' the way to do it.
That is the reason for all the sour grapes on here our landlords.
Well I still think it is great and am happy for the whole City.
