We've missed a fit Waghorn, especially Vik.

Well I’m feeling ticketyboo after that. Not as thrilling as Saturdays game but I’ll have it.

1-0 a fair result I think, Stoke not particularly aggressive with the extra possession and nothing on target says a fair bit. We look pretty leggy but at least with those front 3 who finished the game the ball is sticking at the right end of the pitch for longer.

Play-off campaign back on track.

4 points off the play-off places with 2 games in hand.

Gyökeres looked like a weight had been lifted after the goal. The pressure was definitely getting to him. Pleased for him. At no point did he ever hide away and has given some good performances over the last few months regardless.

For anyone who doubts whether o’hare is vital for us, that game showed why. So 1 dimensional without him, hopeful aimless balls down the channels, made such a difference when he came on

Delighted to see it go in after Peterborough's keeper denied him well a few games ago. Brilliant play at the end to take 2 players out of the game, just a shame he couldn't get more on the shot.

It shows you don’t need to dominate possession - sometimes a bit of blood and guts wins games

much better than Saturday

Clarke Salter looks pretty good and like Gyokeres we should look to get him

If you include Derby in the cup we've won 3 of the last 4 and probably should've won the other.

Well for all you doubters it was OHares pressing that hurried their player into the rushed clearance straight to Sheaf

How many injuries we got.??? All 3 wing backs! Considering all that and the lack of luck. We are playing well.

6 points from last 3 games looks good.
With luck should have been 9 from 3.

Think it'd be a bit foolish to sell him now without a guaranteed replacement ready to come in.

Someone on the radio has just said Gordon Shipley and Dom Hymen but it could be my hearing... Great result tonight against a tough team to break down. So pleased for our fighting Swede for his goal, Sheaf, Allen and Hyam outstanding with McFadzean his consistently reliable self.

Thought whilst we deserved the win, that was our worst performance for a few games. But will take those ugly 1-0 wins all day long. Delighted for Vik, never let his head drop after a pretty poor first half and had the confidence to take a shot on which to me didn’t look on at the time. Bring on Saturday.

Great result and a big win.

Delighted for Gyokeres, you could tell how much he meant. He’s a great player and it was always only a blip in the scoring form.

Sheaf has always been class, he’s just getting classier and classier. Most now see that (thankfully) but there’s still one idiot behind me who constantly slates him.

Said it before, but Sheaf, COH, Gyokeres, Hamer (ish) are players we can really build around going forward.

Said similar earlier. Still, he's clearly Championship standard and letting him go without an obvious replacement coming in immediately would be daft.

If he's had personal issues let's give him time to sort them out.

Nick rings up to say that you won't often hear him praise O'Hare, but "he was rilly rilly good tonoight". And Gyokores is "Biamou with a bit of class".

I’m starting to think the same too.

However, would be really happy if he signed a contract extension.

Fantastic win. Felt like they controlled the game but offered very little going forward. Probably Moore’s quietest game of the season. Gyokeres really needed that goal, and took it well. Sheaf excellent as ever, as were the whole defence. Go up to Middlesbrough and come back with something and we’re in a really strong position.

It's not necessarily a criticism of the player, there's been plenty of talk about him having some challenges off the pitch affecting his performance that are pretty understandable.

I can't really say he's been much of an effective presence compared to that initial spell.
