Can you sprint around for 90

Footballers don't sprint for 90 full minutes. If we are struggling at 60 mins after 2 weeks rest we need to identify the problem and work on it.

Once we get Waggy back hopefully that works in our favour. As Godden or walker dont have the same hold up play as Vik or Wag

Moore, McFadzean and Gyokeres played really well. Hamer and Sheaf seemed to control the midfield. Should have replaced Hamer with Kelly. Can't really play both Godden and Walker as neither are good at holding onto the ball. It's just not their game. Kane impressive again.

McFaz was awesome today and has been all season to surprise a few, even his manager. MOTM today. O'Hare needs to come off late on and I would have like to see Jody Jones have the last 20 minutes. But all in all great tactical display that could easily have paid off with 3 points but instead we lost the midfield we had control of. It was worth a risk. It was very positive from Robin's and you can't complain about that. A good point from a difficult place to go. Some great defending from Dabo worth a shout and Kane certainly reliable and uses the ball well. Not to forget we had no naturally left sided CB or WB. Look forward to Tuesday. Maetson to come back and Dabo revert back to right side. Godden and Gyokeres to start. Kelly to start for me. Allen back on the bench. Thought the team effort today was excellent.

Managed to catch most of the game. Thought he smelt blood by bringing on Walker and Godden, and other than Godden’s shot, we offered not a lot. McGoldrick has two golden chances to win it.

So bloody frustrating we dominate the game especially first half but just not positive enough in front of goal, still a point away from home not to be scoffed at.

Why was the atmosphere so bad again at BL?

5th game there in a row where I don't think I've heard more than 2/3 songs from the Sheffield United fans.

Truly awful.

Cov fans weren't particularly great today though. Flat at times in the away end.

Very poor atmosphere in our end today. Disjointed.

As much as our subs changed the game for us along with our midfield really tiring, thought McGoldrick changed it for them and was real class despite missing the chances. Thought Fleck looked average. The Sheffield fans say we hate Fleck. Is that true? I was sad to see him leave at the time and feel indifferent about him now. Hate is a bit strong. Moved for more money and it is what it is, one of them (Copyright Roland Nillson-football cliches are us).

At one point there were three different renditions of the O'Hare song going, each starting at different times.

Think we sometimes need better opposition fans to get our own going.
A goal wouldn't have done any harm either...

It's a dreadful away end that bottom tier. Always difficult to make noise when it's about 10 rows deep spread out across a whole end. Agreed that it doesn't help that the United fans offered nothing.

If Sheffield Utd offered to trade Fleck for Hamer or Sheaf, I don't think we'd want to. Just goes to show where we're at now.

Gorky is the man for holding the ball up. Losing him and the extra man in midfield changed it too much.

Happy enough with the point though.

Robins with an eye on Tuesday can be the only reason he substituted Gyks and Sheaf (both outstanding). Think Kelly should of started instead of Allen, with Hamer pushed further forward. Moore, McFadz and Kane all excellent. For all our control for 60 mins, we didn’t create much.
Do you not think it’s a great point ?

We missed the game live as my lad had a swimming lesson but we have just watched it with him and my blues supporting father in law (the last two weeks when my son has seen his grandad he says we are going to take you down). A good point and a brilliant save by Moore didn’t feel we would score but a point away is perfect.

John Fleck looked like he did when he was here very average.

Yeah I quite like the ground as a whole but the away end is shoddy.
One exit for the whole stand at the end of the game, loads of fans forced into the walkways and they were holding back beer until half time for some reason, which was going to cause chaos

People going on about subs, but to win it we had to try something different.

It didnt work for us - but some of that was due to the way Sheff United tweeked their system, got higher up the pitch and upped their intensity.

There are people on here who want two up top every game. Then there are others who just call things out after the game when something hasn't worked.

Robins tried to be positive with his subs.

So we cant question why the manager has said we are tired. After a 2 week break with only 1 player out on International duty. who dint actually play.

Yet other games we have pressed for 90 mins solid and looked fine.

We really do lack squad depth and hopefully this is sorted in Jan. As we don't have cover for players like COH.

Cracking point away from home with a clean sheet. We’ve come miles to go toe to toe and Sheff Utd and to come away a tad disappointed with 1 point is a testament. I say that only based on thinking this is winnable for us looking at the table prior to the game.

If we beat brum Tuesday then that’s a great 4 points!

He said we were leggy after pressing a quality side for an hour . Bramall lane is also one of the biggest pitches in the Championship too

i think both explains his comments or does your background in player fitness suggest otherwise ?
