Possibly stupid question, but couldn’t you designate some turnstiles kids only or look at the data to see where large numbers are coming through and so some monitoring. They must have done more than just go “I think this is an issue so I’ll do X”?

I’m sorry I’m not backing the club I’m seeking to understand

From conversations I’d had and probably many others with the club the thought was much much worse than this - maybe tactical

You absolutely don’t have to move it’s just if you can’t afford not to

The club should be promoting healthy kids pricing throughout the stadium .I've already stated the reasons why it matters that we don't move

that is not the club’s responsibility and certainly shouldn’t impact the vast majority of families who enjoy that side of the ground to be hit by such a price hike. Boys will be boys. anyone would think singers corner is a hot bed for violence and drug taking when its not
Sorry the law states otherwise in terms of safeguarding and yes there is an obligation on the organisation to have a safeguardinh operation

not totally linked with this discussion of course

You’re probably right. Those seats near the corporate ones won’t be any better for the wife either. If we aren’t at or near half way then she can’t see into the opposite half.
Does she not get a concession ticket. I thought someone partially sighted and a partner would as I knew a guy years ago who used too

I hope they don't look too closely at which tickets come through which turnstiles considering the pre-game announcements that you should enter the stadium anywhere you like

It’s only partly related to the prices in my opinion
I’m pretty certain that people at the club have chewed Doug’s ear to keep jsb prices lower and I’m pretty certain he mused at removing them altogether.
It’s on his head success or failure
Success more money and fans
Failure less money and fans
Team done their bit
Fans done theirs
This is a money man trying to maximise funds from supporters season tickets
Let’s see how it does

I don’t think we’ll hit the headline sales figures if this season, but can see the argument if we keep or raise revenue overall. I just think it’s the intangibles that will suffer and won’t be as immediately obvious.

Age 62, Block 19.

Price this season: £276

Price next season: £480

74% Increase, thanks Doug.
Feel for you and everyone in that age bracket, it’s been a growing trend in all areas of leisure etc following the government’s rhetoric of moving pension age out etc and the views of industries and businesses that at that age, you are likely to be mortgage free and have some of the most disposable income out of any group out there.
I know that can be true but also can be a real falsehood for many and sadly, the club are following many others to test this out.
I would still guess that many in that 60-65 will end up being in the Prem club and like to sit in those premium seats opposite the dugout or actually upgraded to the side behind the dugouts and enjoy a little more luxury and that’s what the club are banking on.
Hope it’s affordable for you.

All, you also know we have the nominations form to benefit from the funds raised to help out fans. Had a flurry of nominations last night so if you know people we can help then don’t hesitate to nominate them.
Of course, all subject to being able to raise enough funds to do so and I will be making contact with the club to see if they can help out on any matching or discount/extended early bird to help us buy more for people.

nomination link is in the pinned thread Helping Fans Part 6 along with donation link

How do disabled tickets work? Do you have to be in a certain area?

My dad has a blue badge and we park in the disabled bays at the ground, and really we need something with as few stairs from the entrance as possible. Is there anything that can be done? Not even looking for cheap tickets just wondering what options are.

You would think that if for example somebody had to sit in the disabled sections / wheelchairs etc but they were only in the "Premium Zone" then there's grounds for discrimination. Probably best to speak to the club about it.

I don't really know the terms of what defines it though.
