So so sad. Was always very witty on here and his contributions will be missed.

Nice idea to do something for both Wayne and FM. Puts the silly squabbles on here into perspective. Peace be with them both.

Just seen this, terrible news. Really great poster and no age at all. Feel so much for his family.

Surely we can do something, even if it’s just a card and some flowers?

Just logged on to go through the match day thread for a bit of entertainment and saw this thread. Fuck. That must've been so hard to write Spud, thanks for letting people know. Ccfcway was always one of the most positive guys on here over the last years (and in hindsight he was right to be!), he'll be missed by all. Sympathies to family and friends, far too young to go

Always positive on match threads and tbh this post has made me think I need to start being more positive tbh life is too short to be negative and moaning, from today I’ll be taking that approach moving forward the same way Wayne did

Great message. Let’s make Tuesday’s match 100% positive in memory of Wayne

Shocked like others. Didn’t know him personally but always a regular contributor. It does hit you when someone you interact with passes at such a young age. As a father, can’t imagine what his family must be feeling. R.I.P. CCFWAY PUSB

As someone alluded to earlier, it’s strange how it affects you having not met the person, just interacted on here. Same as FM. Such sad news, thoughts are with his family.

Such sad news, after losing my Mrs at a similar age i know how hard it can be for those left behind.
I'm sure i speak for everyone on here when i say that if his family need anything, then myself and the SBT community will do all we can to help. RIP mate

I feel numb, he's only a couple of years older than me and to be taken away so suddenly.

Such an active poster, always positive and his love for the club always shined through, I very muched saw him as part of my SBT family. He will be missed.

RIP. And many condolences and love to his Wife, son, family and friends.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to support.

Oh my, this is such sad news! Was fortunate enough to know him as a personal friend, with him growing up with my sisters as our neighbour!

RIP Wayne

Far, far too young.
Mortality has a habit of sneaking up when you least expect it, the bastard.
RIP fella.

I realised last night I used to play with his younger brother, who is one of the nicest blokes you could hope to meet. I'm sure he got plenty of that from Wayne.

So desperately sad to hear that someone in the prime of his life has been struck down.
Like some others on here, I have children older than him.

In these times I am constantly reminded of my own mortality, but at least I've had the chance to bring up my children and see my grandchildren start to grow up.

My thoughts are with his young family, and all who were near and dear to him
