It’s the inconsistency again. Two cynical shirt pulls, one gets a yellow. Hamer gets a yellow for running into a player off the ball. Walker and Vik get wrestled every time they touch the ball and nothing. Just pick a lane refs! Must be so frustrating as a player. Gutted for Gus, didn’t deserve that at all.

1 point more than we usually get there, so I’ll take it. Personally thought NC was fine, more so first half than 2nd. EW is playing out of position, so it’s obviously as simple as he’s shit. They had Vik in their pockets tonight, defence did well with him to be fair. Burroughs did well when he came on I thought. Awful finishing.
Special mention to the ref, who was dogshit. Some baffling decisions, but also how do you let a ball hit you that was passed from 20 yards away.

Definitely but Preston defended him better than any side I've seen for 2 years. The big lad at the back was superb.

Vik started to get the better in the last 20 mins but the ref gave him nothing. Shock.

If Cuffy starts ahead of him then he must be on some sort of City pay if he doesn't play deal.

There's a load of rubbish spouted on here.

Another clean sheet for the defence.

Not NC's best game but has looked good last few weeks.

WE is playing out of position.

Burroughs didn't really do anything when he came on.

We can't shoot.

Walker looked good, a lot of energy. Needs game time.

So much expected of Godden, he's just come back from injury and is not match fit.

Eccles tackles like Sheaf.

All 4 shots on target were from way outside the box. We didn't have a single clearcut chance, where as Preston had 2, the fact they failed to hit the target from either of them let us off the hook.

I get some of the frustration, PNE looked nothing special. But frankly neither did we and that really is down to being reduced to a skeleton midfield. If Allen really is injured as well I dread to think what we'll look like in the next 3 games.

Finishing was really poor-no idea how either side didn't score.

BNC was decent on Saturday but today he looked fatigued from about 20 mins onwards. I'm amazed JB didn't come on at HT. BNC is 18 years old, he's going to be inconsistent and whether people like it or not, our model atm is to sign young players on loan to keep us in the Championship and fill in the gaps.

Sometimes they'll be outstanding, sometimes they will be shite and sometimes they'll be 7-10. I won't slate them for being inconsistent, BNC and JWE will go on to be decent players but for now they are inconsistent. As was Doyle at the start of the season and panzo.

Anyways enough waffle. Burroughs to start sat for me and on a side note, I agree with someone else above about Godden. He's not had a good full game for over a year I'd say
