Everton have just spunked money up the wall on lots of overpriced rubbish, players like that Maupay would struggle in the championship, they have to overpay average players as nobody with any sense wants to go there. If they came down they would walk this league though as you wouldn’t get a decision against them all season.

Didn’t see any other but the pen city should of had, clear foul
Yeah they should have done, although Grealish went down like a sack of spuds, and Traore was fouled in the build up which the ref didn't give.

Quite confident Arsenal will be caught and not win the title.

So funny that there were a couple of posters in the summer suggesting we should sign Nketiah on loan, as he wouldn't play much for Arsenal

Arsenal fully in the driving seat now

Can even afford a defeat and a draw to City and still win it

Great game that. Arteta done an amazing job. Both clubs appear to have got rid of the rotten cores that were holding them back in recent years

Both also shrugging off the legacy of long-term managers who cast a shadow over those who follow, too. The odd poor season grants a bit more tolerance when things don't go quite so perfect.

Some said Haaland would struggle against the ‘low block’ teams would employ against Man City. He’s on to score 50 this season.

Lampard sacked.

He should have built his managerial experience with Derby - he had a good first season

Chelsea was obviously a draw but its a sack a season club as is Everton - why he went to Everton who knows - he should get a job back in the championship and start again

He had a little bit of help at Derby with Tomori, Mount and Wilson plus the prolific Waghorn.

People mock him but he is an English manager who had an excellent international career. Its a bizarre mentality - same with Rooney and Gerrard - why people want these people to fail I just do not understand

Everton fan on talksport has just said Vincent Kompany, I can see it being either Dyche or Ferguson

I think you said earlier he needs to drop down and reset and I would agree.

It’s not ‘wanting’ at all from what I’ve seen. Great, world class player. But managing Chelsea was massive for him, way too premature so early in his career. Everton wasn’t right for him either.

I Like Everton , But they really are at a critical point in their history

Exactly, he got a big favour from his old club Chelsea with some excellent players on loan and took Derby all the way from 6th to... 6th.

Total fraud of a manager (so far. Still time to improve of course, though I don't think he will).

Yeah I don't think anybody wants them to fail. World class player does not equal good manager.

Rooney has done ok. Lampard was average at Derby, awful at Chelsea and Everton. Gerrard did well at Rangers but terrible at Villa.
