that was a proper 5-1 up brain fart

Dorgu does the hard bit and leaves the Ipswich player for dead.

Then plays a total stinker of a cross.

Ipswich started really well, but completely outclassed that second half. Not sure if that makes me feel better or worse. 🤣

Man U really turned it on second half. That say Ipswich managed to score 2 and get an xG of 2.01 and we're hard done by the Nuno slip and the ridiculous VAR decision.

Let’s not get too cocky with what Saturday will probably have in store
An absolute beasting probably but I expect that. Some folk talked up Ipswich like they had a chance today.

A couple certainly do and there are more that are more flip of a coin than people suggest, but they have made more necessary improvements than we have.
I pray the window isn't done as I think a decent LW so we never have to see BTA again and more importantly a high end, experienced centre mid, could improve our season greatly. Grimes has to come out of the team soon, King needs to make this happen, even if its just wages for a free transfer.

Not going to happen at all but I’d pay Wijnaldum whatever he wants and Mudryk whatever Chelsea want unless we can gazump Hull for that LW they’re in for. Think that’s our lot though.

I would love the ambition of that but I won't hold my breath.

The club have shown huge ambition weve spent the 5th most ever as a promoted side
I mean the ambition to bring in a couple of established stars, even if they are a bit past it, to help the young players through rather than feed them to the wolves.

If we put in the same peeformance and got battered 5-2 youd be tearing up the team and manager , 33 shots conceded they were demolished and scored a second when united took the foot off
I’d take encouragement from the first half.

tbh defensively then they looked all over the place. They’ll concede a bucket load of goals if they keep playing like that

So Ipswich who've spent a small countries GDP on new players get hammered at a team who were poor last season compared to cov who lost 2-0 at the second best team in Europe last week

Of course you would.

What would your take on it be if it was us that conceded 5 goals in 42 minutes after taking the lead? If Manchester United had their shooting boots on it would have been an annihilation.

Having watched hilights from the weekends games I have to say our performance was comfortably the most one dimensional of the weekend.

Hopefully we'll sort it in time for Brighton, Im not expecting too much out of Saturdays game.

united should have scored about 7 or 8

So same token if we lose 5-2 this weekend. We need to be tearing up the team and manager. 33 shots conceded we would be classed as demolished?

I got the feeling of we score 2 goals and lose 5-2 this weekend we would be celebrating some positives. Goals and assists.

Im going this weekend. Id take that scoreline and I wouldnt call it a battering.
