He probably was but you can only release players that other clubs want and three other CBs have joined this window so he wouldn't get much opportunity here. Good that he's accepted the reality of his situation

He's probably fifth choice.

Amenda, Thomas, Pinnock and Mfuni are probably all ahead of him.
