Well considering Sheff United seem to be skint there is little prospect of them being able to buy him out of a contract this time next year - unless his extended contract runs out next summer

That was my thinking too.
I also think he, at least last season and the one before, brings out the best in Bobby.
Keeping options open though with it being a loan…

Defensively, there's not much between him and Lati, but Kitching is the better player because of his additional technical qualities,

Yeah I like Kitching, and that he's one of the few players we have who is willing to get in the oppositions faces, but I think he's far too erratic for the Premier League.
