2) anybody heard how many have we sold to date?

1. Will depend on how many we sell. Wouldn't risk it personally.

What's the best way for me to get two tickets as I don't live in Coventry? I live in Notts so do you know if I could get them from there? Or will they send them to me on time?

Say "Hello" if you see me. I'll be the hassled looking bloke trying to strangle my seven year old.

Bring your raincoats, it looks like a tad more of the wet stuff for Saturday. Some things have improved in football I suppose, the last time I went to Meadow Lane luckily it was a nice sunny day as it was a big open terrace without roof !

Yep - was convinced Brizzle was going to get called off due to drizzle, and with the weather forecast at the moment, at County it's bounty (doesn't quite work does it?)!

....still, got my ticket, train travel planned and pubs scouted!!

Weather doesn't look that bad. Some rain overnight tonight and tomorrow,, but sun will be shining Sat morning, according to the MET office anyway.

Always found weather outlook to be pretty good: showing a clear window at the moment, though things can change quickly of course.

Have not read all of the thread but can someone tell me whether you can pay on the gate as I'm not sure that I will be able to make it.

So if those 650 don't sell by tomorrow, they will available on the gate?

Sales until 3 or 5pm on Friday I think.

Tickets are being sent down to Notts County though which have been bought by then

My lad can't get enough, he really does live Coventry City. He's the same as me when I was that age. He's really excited about his first "Proper" away game tomorrow - we don't count pre-season friendlies.

It's a great service that we do for Coventry City and the City of Coventry. My kids are all pro Cov in every way despite peer pressures at school etc to go to the dark side at the other end of the M69 !

With living over here I have the Leics problem....but I think I have sufficiently brainwashed them both enough. Maybe a bit too much as they loalk about the City of Coventry like its some magical place where everyone and everything is great. At some point there is going to be realisation and major disapointment but I'll work out how Im going to get around that little problem some other time.

Trouble with mine is he has a very short attention span. Can't blame he too much, he's only just turned 4. He'll happily go to a game but then invariable get bored, not watch the game and then jump out of his skin when a goal goes in and everyone is jumping around and shouting.

They all have at that age, you have to make the whole experience of going to football a pleasurable one, lunch beforehand, sweets and magazines at the ready, it won't be long before he just actually wants to go for the match itself, probably about 8 or 9 though !

He wants to go all the time, but I'm not wasting the money just yet. He has the away shirt (SISU lover, I hear you cry!) and a Sky Blue Sam etc etc. He knows the team when they are on the TV.

I'm gonna try again next year.
