What a wanker. Fuck off out of the profession, Joey.
Although, at least he isn't girly like most footballers...

Never seen owt like that in English football before.

A disgrace. Thought he was over all his worst stuff. Just shows I guess, once a thug always a thug.

Just watched it on youtube, it's literally nothing, if that happened anywhere other then a football field, would the 'victim' go down like they did. Of course not.

It's not that though Marty. It is the 2nd incident. Once you are off you are off. You don't then go and whack another player after your red card.

That was the disgrace.

no disgrace about it, If i done literally nothing and got sent off, i would be majorly pissed off and likely to lash out. That whack as you call it, you'd see worse things in a play ground.

Barton said himself that he hit tevez because Tevez hit him first so he deserved to be sent off, so did Tevez but that's not the point

Sorry he swung an elbow, whether you like the player he aimed it at or not is irrelevant, his 2nd offence of kneeing Aguero was terrible in the intent, and then he tried to headbutt Kompany, an absolute twat.

He claims Tevesz tried to hit him however the camera showed that didnt really happen at all.

Yep exactly.

First incident a clear red card, but no bones about it. After the red card the incident on Aguero was a real disgrace and then as you say, he even then went on to try and headbutt someone else.

He took quite a swing at Aguero for sure.

It's a way of life to that scum boy ! That's how he lives. I agree it was what followed after the red card that deserves attention. I wish they would kick him out of the game, let him scrap on the streets and get locked up where he belongs. People like him wonder why authority always comes down on them and then they feel hard done by. He's a fecking cock and deserves everything he gets.

Barton has apologised on twitter and said he didn't lose his head, he was trying to get one of their players sent off as suggested by one of his team mates.....

The first incident Tevez kicked him first off the ball and that is why Barton swung the elbow at him. Tevez should have been sent off as well but what followed after that was a disgrace and he should be hit with a lengthy ban.

He should just be thanking his side were not relegated after his stupidity.

Problem is sections in the media seem to court his opinion. His 5 live conversations with his chum savage were cringe making. The suggestion he is a philosopher with his quotes on twitter and even an appearance on question of sport.

In truth without football he would be just the type of guy you would avoid in the street. A very unpleasant individual and should be vilified for his actions.

The way Tevez and Aguero went down was comical. How can grown men play act like that in front of thousands of people and not be embarrassed.

Gamesmanship is as part of modern football as anything else these days unfortunately. Barton quite clearly has anger control issues which do him no favours in such a high profile role-Balotelli's attempted leg breaker at Arsenal seems to have been forgotten quite quickly, I might add.

Barton tweets:
He posted: "Shearers still on my case... I know I f***** up Alan, thanks for stating the obvious.

"Whilst were both stating the obvious about each other, can I just say for the record what a great player u were. Well better me...

"But I have a better hair (which is not hard), wear well better shirts on TV and have a personality (something u lack).

"P.S. My final point, ur a s*** pundit/manager...

"I really don't like that p****, in fact I honestly despise him... Goodnight."

I wonder how many people will agree with that though?

Are people joking about how Tevez and Aguero went down? I'm totally against simulation/diving etc but they put a close up from the front the Tevez incident and you see his head kick back - that was a nasty elbow. Aguero was just standing there and got a knee in the thigh from behind. Pathetic how people are trying to blame them for something that isn't there. I'm guessng when he punched Gamst Pederson in the chest a couple seasons ago that was actually just a little tickle! The guys a disgrace, and then making up a story about how one of his team mates suggested trying to get a City player a red card, as if then people are going to read that and say "oh, well that's understandable then"!!! And to top it off he has a "twitter argument" with Lineker about things he said about Shearer last night. I don't particularly like either as pundits but in footballing terms they've done their time and earned the respect of everyone in football. Barton hasn't - he's a common little scally pikey who lives in his own bubble.

He is an idiot and a nutcase, another player who could have been a decent player bit cannot handle his temper. They need to get rid
