While I am on a roll, I think that one of the most reprehensible things that Sisu did was to lead people on who really wanted to believe in the new stadium project. If you accept there was never going to be a stadium then you have to accept it was a really twisted thing to do to play on people's good faith and their generosity of time in getting them to sit on the new stadium committee to discuss what they wanted in the new ground. What sort of a person is it that would set this up knowing that the new stadium was fiction simply to give credence to a non-existent project? You would hope that Sandra Garlick was as much in the dark as everyone else and didn't just go along with it. So many underhand activities from all sides in this. However, there are so many examples like this of Sisu's contempt for CCFC supporters that they are by far the worst party involved.
I wonder if RFC still believes that the stadium was ever true? If he doesn't (even he must accept it was a lie) I wonder how he feels about Sisu?

I suspect SISU will continue with these legal appeals up to the point at which Wasps have to refinance the bond. I suspect that some kind of deal will be made at that time depending on Wasps' financial situation. My guess is that Wasps will be in a black hole by that time and SISU may be hanging around to try and pick up the pieces. In the meantime, we all suffer with cr@p football, the likelihood of moving out of Coventry, and no prospect of getting promoted. Tough times to be a City fan.

Wasps cited legal action against the city council as reason for pulling out. Last I checked wasps and the council were not the same although you could be onto something here.

Don't think we can deny that
In all this JR2 issue CCC, Wasps, sisu are linked if only by association but still linked. Wasps ain't going to back down so what next ? Chris Andersons somewhat erratic performance in his handling of the Acadamy issue, not turning up for meetings, want things in writing, just being awkward in my opinion won't bode well for Wasps to jump to the negotiation table will it. Going to get very interesting.

Like SISU and CCFC are not the same? :jawdrop: Like when we attack SISU we are really attacking CCFC? And it doesn't count unless it's that scenario.:jawdrop:

Pretty much sums it up. The club now have more than enough evidence to make a decent case that they are being forced out. There's zero chance they will risk kicking us out of the league and spending years in court.

Even if Wasps up the rent to £500,000 it will be more cost advantageous that moving to another stadium temporary. I would say the FL would want to see concrete plans for a new stadium after having the wool pulled over their eyes once. The piss take on the golden share and players should have shown them that Sisu are not fit and proper owners.
We will not be allowed to move this time and Sisu will need to seriously think what they want to do with our club this time.

Depending on the terms...

If there is 1 stadium, the football league can't force a deal there. They can't stop a move can they?

If you attack CCC about the Ricoh affair of course it affects Wasps. If the JR reaches the European courts and is totally overturned and business between Wasps and CCC is declared "Null and void" what happens next? Do CCC have To pay Wasps back? what happens about the £14m loan? the consequences are endless

They can't reverse it can they? You would think that there would be things covering that when the deal was done.

Why would you have a sad face at the thought of consequences for wasps and ccc if there was wrong doing? Strange.

Wasps are in the driving seat no good disputing if there is a real link between CCC, sisu and Wasps and JR2 Simply Wasps won't negotiate while legals are going on. I think they will be absolutely adamant re that.

I would say that if the club is disadvantaged by the move then yes.
They would ask why not stay while you build a new stadium ?
Wasps have said they want them to stay so they are not being forced out.
Sometimes you are a little naive.

I am naive?

The football league can't force anything, they will have wasps saying they won't talk, the council and the butts, miller chip and his links.

What are the football league going to do? They can't force wasps to talk to the club can they? The same as they can't force legal action to be dropped.

The club is disadvantaged by the sale to wasps, what can the fl do about that?

How can they? Like it or not it's a legal right that they are entitled to by taking the legal action.

They can't tell people they must drop legal action.

I would say the one thing in all this we can rely on is the fact the EFL & FA will

There will be a deal. The sooner SISU finish the legals the quicker a long term deal will happen.
If the legals are still going on when the current deal finishes Wasps will just offer a temporary deal that I guess will be circa £250,000 - £500,000.
A deal that is more cost effective to the club than moving to say Northampton.
The FL could then just say no based on that reasoning. To be honest I can't see why Sisu would want to force a move other than politics and/or spite.

Wait a minute, aren't wasps saying they won't talk about a deal but you are now saying they will if it comes to it?

Why wouldn't they just offer that now then? Sounds like you think they are trying to pressure the club into a bad deal or something.

All depends on the term, if its another 2+2 year deal the club would struggle to argue with the FL on it. If however has been suggested its a 20 year deal no break clause, then I would imagine the club could argue against it.

I give up with you. You will argue black is blue and vice versa. You and others are determined SISU and CCFC are seperate entities. What happens to CCFC if SISU get obliterated in the European courts? Liquidation? Administration? Nah, it'll never happen coz SISU are nothing to do with CCFC?!?!

The football league will just get told it isn't ccfc doing the legal action, how can the football league tell or advise other parties what to do?

I would hazard a guess the some of CA 17 points can't be concluded while legal action is in place. Don't forget JR2 is in the pipeline which is challenging the Wasps CCC deal.
If your taking your landlord to court only someone naive would think a long term deal could be done.

Tim Fisher simply has not delivered to the FL what he assured he would to them and us fans regards a new stadium just over 2 years ago. It is Fisher who should be harassed for answers by local media, MPs, websites, the trust, supporters and you Nick, I can not believe how light he is getting away with this, when Anderson was appointed just over six months ago Fisher went on record saying his sole role in our club was spearheading the new stadium, the media and others should be all over him like a rash. He sits smugly in the directors box match after match and never asked or answers demanded as to what is happening on our new ground. It's no good fans coming on here saying it won't happen which is an easy an probably obvious assumption to have but until it is Fisher personally and publically admits that we must all assume it might.

I used to think that, but a surprising number of fans of other clubs I have spoken to over the last few years, not only knew about our predicament, but were genuinely concerned about what and how it had happened and were clued up on what was going on.

It doesn't get rid of Sisu or Wasps, though.

From my experience most non CCFC fans know we moved away but had no idea what the reasoning was.
