THE following statement has been issued by Coventry City:
Tim Fisher, chief executive of Coventry City, said: "We have had a proposal letter from Gary Hoffman and his associates looking to discuss the future of the football club.
"We have agreed to meet in the near future to talk through both their intentions and plans and to share our own plans for the future of Coventry City.
"We will devote appropriate time and effort to these discussions - but it will not distract us from our ongoing efforts to improve things on and off the field."
So was what everything keys kept saying on twitter total rubbish
perhaps hoffmans lot are worried who else is going to be sold off if they don't act now
wonder if SISU have said we want to make X amount from sales then we will be happy to move on ??
I think sisu had no intention of meeting until the end of the transfer window so that they can still off load players and cash in with what they can
Good news.
There goes the excuse from certain non-protesters that nobody's trying to buy us.
Take the offer SISU and sod off!
:blue:
I don't like the "share our own plans for the future of the football club" bit. Let's hope this is a takeover rather than just investment.
Maybe, before gloating and having yet another go at "certain non-protestors" you should see what the offer actually is and whether it is accepted and goes through.
Yes, this is good news, what we all wanted to hear, so you shouldn't really use it as a stick to beat fellow fans with.
They've repeatedly said they'd rather not completely give up the club but I can't imagine anyone wanting to own anything along side SISU.
No. Their apathy is inexcusable.
Keys said 23rd Dec, perhaps he meant it would be anounced on 23rd Jan
No. Their apathy is inexcusable.
Possibly should've saved it for another thread though.
Come on Hoff!
