It was still the Countryman when I lived in Sharnford. I'm pretty sure it's now run by the son of the local builder, Bill Edge, from Henson Way where we lived, who I think is a Cov Kid. There were loads of us lived on that street.

A guy called Fraser runs the Bricklayers, he plays golf over at Ullesthorpe. There used to be a few Cov fans when it was the Countryman including my old school mate Russ Burroughs who is no longer with us. RIP

Yep. That's Fraser Edge - Bill's lad. Bill (and family) as builders, changed the name to The Bricklayer's from The Countryman when they took it on.

Beer Festival is in Nuneaton in October - exact dates TBC. This will be our 5th year and all proceeds go to charity. I usually post about it on the Off Topic section of the forum.

And if you’re Hinckley/Burbage based I try to get posters up in pubs/coffee shops/restaurants etc too!

Bought a new Focus from there many years ago.
Were you the plum that forgot to affix the tax disc (that dates it somewhat) and made me drive back to get it?

Tim and Wendy at the Elbow are great. Love the place, but too popular now - can hardly squeeze in there! Good job I don't drink much these days.

Think looking back, this almost got off the ground in 2018...not sure if it did. I'm seeing more Cov fans than Leicester in Hinckley/Burbage (have done for the last few years to be fair )...feel like there's enough us here to do something...although I'm not entirely sure how or if any pub would be affiliated with Cov this side of the M69...

I live in Burbage so would love this to happen!
