Interesting that Joy wrote that she was getting pressured by investors to commence civil action against the Council...

So I would guess that the money used by SISU to pay bills and initially invest in the team squad was by investors who knew it was in CCFC. I would guess that if they pressured her to go legal then they are paying the legal costs.

On those power point slides

“Does the council wish to see a viable football club” - amazing that that’s even a question

Also:
Sisu never allowed to use ACL assets for security or borrowing... LOL

How is it decided what is redacted / covered up on documents like those?

It should be based upon the Freedom of Information Act. Certain information is completely exempt (such as information provided in confidence or security related information) and other information is subject to a 'public interest test' to decide whether to redact or not. It should be a lawyer or someone else with suitable knowledge of the legislation making the call on it.

Usually a public body will have either a lawyer or just a specialist who understands what is or isn't exempt.

Nick, as the owner of the forum can you claim any rights to see the redacted information? I don't think there is anything commercially confidential there

I thought it was ACL that commissioned WS yet they're emailing Coventry Council email addresses

Yep, that's where the whole "It was all ACL" doesn't add up does it? Why were they emailing Cov Council emails and not ACL ones?

I would like Simon Gilbert to question why the council were quite adamant that SISU did not borrow against the Ricoh Arena but are happy that Wasps are

The redaction is odd. For example Fishers name is redacted but Sepallas isn’t.

Also could someone get Simon to ask the Council if they every responded to/resolved Yorkshire Bank's concerns around the conflict of interest between ACL/CCC?...

Nobody comes out of that well do they.

Thankfully the threat to liquidate the club from Seppala proved to be empty. I did chuckle at "we cannot delay our other plans to build a new stadium" dated... 13th November 2013.

I also chuckled at the frequent desires to improve relationships between the parties. That went well...

Indeed, guess they never googled the meaning of SISU.
