He scored 12 last season which is impressive in a relegated side, different ball game but Edwards FGR side had a similar player in Jamille Matt

Ah did he, I thought he scored about 5 goals, should have checked first, but still you would have thought they’d be after better like Joel Piroe

How many pens? And he doesn’t contribute a lot else, hes a good league 1 striker, not good enough for the championship IMO.

5 pens, still gives him 7 if you exclude penalties, as many as our top scorer in 20/21

That’s a good move for him, I thought I’d check how the other keeper we got from Arsenal around the same time is doing. Reice Charles-Cook, now second choice for Dartford in National League South!

See for yourself, he played 52 games here (according to Wikipedia) and hasn’t played that many combined at his next 9 clubs

Horrible injury. You can be back from a broken leg in less time. Feel for the lad. Has barely kicked a ball since he left us.

Gone there as a number 2, at 24 years old you'd be wanting to be first choice at a club by now

He'll never be first choice at an EFL club, simply not at that level.

Get him back
I'd take a gamble on him
Can do a job at this level
Can take Hamer's place

Hopefully this can put to bed some of these embarrassing comments.

He’s had a bad run of injuries. Only Mystic Meg could have truly known that he was going to get an Achilles injury. There was also a chance he wouldn’t and could have gone on to have a decent season somewhere.

In any case, it’s a shame for the lad. It’ll be hard for him to come back from this and any future clubs will be cautious on taking a gamble on him.

Anyway Liam, if you ever by some strange chance look at this forum, not everyone is a know-it-all Nobber - genuine best of luck for the future and stay positive. Many here thank you for your efforts whilst with CCFC.

No one is criticising his ability or taking away from what he did when he was here. It’s more the lunacy of people suggesting we sign him permanently when they know his injury record since he last played fir us.

It’s just a very lazy suggestion and basically shows a lack of knowledge of other players that can actually stay fit and play.

May hamper their transfer incomings, as they would have been looking to get him off their books. Such a shame, for the lad, as we have seen he has talent.
