He can beat a man, no-one else can. His final ball though is usually useless.

We're not going to score with the aerial ball tonight IMO

Lallana needs to get greedier, and Sterling needs to know when to not be greedy

Andros Townsend can, Kane has disappointed me tonight and Vardy should be on by now

Almost a Rooney goal - set up by Sterling but brilliant save by their keeper. Gordon Banks would have been proud of that save.

Kane way too slow to get off his shots. We need Vardy on now.

Sterling isn't making many runs now, when Wilshire just got it he stood about.

He has been superb tonight but it would be one of the full backs for man of the match tonight for me

We could regret missing all those chances if it comes down to goal difference.

Ffs. You need to score when you're on top. Rooney's playing in midfield so we're basically playing with 1 striker. We did play well, but chances fell to the wrong people.

Negative substitutions as always from him does he not know you can go and try to score a second.

Don't think it will matter as they should beat both Wales and Slovakia.

Rooney wasn't superb. He was ok. He did nothing special. He had 2 shots, one straight at the goalie and one brilliantly saved.
