Roy holds a simple chance and they are all out around 250-260 and comfortably beaten.
Same yesterday Root catches Sharma and a simpler result.
There are no outstanding sides 1 to 11 this WC. All have strengths and weaknesses. Aussie and India have holes in middle order and 5th bowlers. Kiwis been heavily reliant on Williamson. England consistency issues.
I don’t think anyone is forgetting that India didn’t need to win but they certainly didn’t throw the game. England were excellent with bat and good with ball. I agree the early wicket and slow run rate in the first 15 cost them dearly. They couldnt hit sixes all game so couldn’t get near our total. India always beat Pakistan but they struggle against us so tactically that wouldn’t work to allow us to win. I just hope we have more big performances in the bagMost people are forgetting that India did not need to win.
