Looking impossible now.

This country started making terrible decisions after WW1, and we’re now paying the price.

Such a terrible war knocked too many peoples faith in western civilisation

No the logic is if you vote for a fascist far right party you’re far right and a fascist. These are defined words with meanings. You keep pulling it back to “racist” which is an opinion on what someone who wants to deport all brown people because one killed some kids are.

And yes Rupert Lowe supports deportation of legal UK citizens based on ethnicity.

I mentioned racism because of it being in the post I originally quoted.

If voting for somebody who has said racist stuff means you're racist then voting for somebody who supports sex offenders means....

Also, how does it work for people who aren't white who voted for reform if they are all racist?

Wrong. When it comes to refugees, we signed up to international laws that decide their rights and how claims should be processed.

That became defunct in 2019.

The Supreme Court ruled that Parliament is the absolute authority within the United Kingdom.

Gina Miller was trying to stop Brexit, but inadvertently destroyed international law authority in the country

in your imaginary scenario, no. If someone votes for an imaginary party that endorses sex crimes then they're endorsing sex crimes.

I've said voting for people with a track record of racist positions and actions is a bit of a tell that you're racist in your attitudes to stuff.

if I'd said someone voting for that party means they've probably taken part in racist violence, you might have a point, but I didn't.

Im not saying that. Take it up with someone who is. I think the people supporting Reform are racists. I don’t think all Reform supporters are racist. I do think they’re far right and fascist.

Do you understand how international law and geopolitics in general works? Every country is dealing with the same stuff do you really think Brexit 2 is the answer to piss off even more allies and get even less cooperation?

We need to vet them. But where do you put them while you vet them? And what if you aren’t vetting them quickly enough?

Correct - but we’re not about to derail whatever we have left on the world stage by sticking 2 fingers up to a convention that most of if not all of western civilisation is signed up to.

There must be a few hundred in Coventry who support sex offending by proxy.

I don't think any party is clean of anything, using the logic if you voted Conservative you fuck pigs and if it was Labour it's rent boys.

If you can show me a party that has a track record of endorsing sex offenders, then we've got something to talk about. Otherwise this is pointless.

No by my logic if you voted Tory you’re some flavour of right wing or centrist and if you voted Labour you’re some flavour of left wing or centrist. As that’s what those parties are.

Can you just answer the question? You’re clearly desperate to make a point so our with it.

Yes, but why has it come to that? Why are there protests outside hotels?

There's a bit of a reddit style mob on this thread, where people are getting more confident with saying empty platitudes because they're getting a lot of likes, but there is a lot of outrage with very little logic attached to it.

The reality is that Reform are flying in the polls, and many people will end up voting that way because there is little way of such civil discourse, as you mention, ever taking place. How many people on this thread have called Reform voters racist? I don't see, for example, many people on this thread debating in adult mode.

I understand it might not be everyone's politics, but whilst getting shouty on a thread and calling people names might make some feel good, we have the potential to see Reform winning a general election, or at least getting a lot of seats, and this makes it worse. it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone if it happens at this point. These people aren't all racist or far-right, many are normal people that walk between us that don't feel listened to by politicians or the people mentioned above.

You make some good points, but suggesting that our football club aligns with one of the most far-right parliamentarians around (i won't call Lowe a politician as he has never shown any aptitude whenever he has been elected) is what people on here are objecting to.
