Iām sorry. Are you suggesting that Jewish people on the receiving end of antisemitism of the worst kind ie saying things like āhiltler got it rightā arenāt vactims. Youāre moral compass is severely corrupt if you think that they arenāt victims.Victims?
Ffs Tony you are a strange fish.
Not at all. Just that you are so adamant to believe what a few old 'chums' remember so vividly 40 years ago simply because it suits your agenda. You're a one trick pony and it's boring as fk.Iām sorry. Funnily enough I used to get a lot of shit at school for being from an Irish family. Maybe you havenāt experienced anything like that but I can tell you that 35 plus years later I still remember it vividly. And my family wasnāt so unfortunate to be part of something so horrific as the holocaust. So yes I believe them. What is strange is how youāre so willing to dismiss it, even when Farage himself admitted something happened, although he thinks heās the victim because they took racist antiseptic slurs based around the holocaust wrong, as if there would ever have been a right way to take it. You are a strange fish and shame on you for trying to defend it with the same mealy-mouthed excuse Farage used. You really should be ashamed of yourself. Not at all. Antiseptic slurs a personal highlight. Is that about Americans?Funnily enough I used to get a lot of shit at school for being from an Irish family. Its not my Idea of a full and happy life Pete but to some it is.Canāt be fun or fulfilling can it
In fairness to him, thereās plenty of cases where high profile cases of harassment and worse offences are only brought forward long times after they happen. Where people come forward we should assume they are doing so in good faith unless thereās substantive evidence otherwise.Antiseptic slurs a personal highlight. Is that about Americans?
It's almost like Farage hasn't been in the spotlight for the past 15 years for them suddenly to come forward.
Fwiw I've not defended him, I don't vote for him (you did i believe?), I have no skin in this game. I have no idea what he did and didn't say, so not dismissing it, but it's that it suits your lone stance on everything so you are absolutely willing to believe it of course. In fact I bet you'd be disappointed if it turned out not to be true, because you love a reason to hate on someone who doesn't fit your persuasion. You don't debate, you don't engage, just the same old claptrap rubbish in every post.
Edit: 1990's getting a lot of shit for being from an Irish family? If you'd said 60s or 70s perhaps, but that didn't even happen in the 80's. Adding bullshit to try and validate your argument is even lower than your norm.
Freddie Eastwood doesnāt allow hybrid working? Its not my Idea of a full and happy life Pete but to some it is.
Given the choice of get up mid morning, take the pedigree dog for a walk after watching loose women or homes under the hammer, Play around on my ebike or scooter for an hour, back home watch more telly and then some tea or out at 8am, 50 minute commute,10 minutes to have lunch at my desk, leave at 5 and home for 6pm, something to eat and not long til bedtime, rinse and repeat. I choose the latter and self respect.
A bit like King Charles in his greenhouseSo what was he actually doing then? Talking to her boobs to make them grow?
Sometimes I work from the office, other times from the pickup or even the transit van depending on the grift.Freddie Eastwood doesnāt allow hybrid working?
So if youāre not a Farage fan boy why are you so keen to portray antisemitism as a victimless crime? Itās a weird stance by any measure, unless of course youāre an antisemite yourself, how else would you explain your dismissal of the victims.Antiseptic slurs a personal highlight. Is that about Americans?

Spectacularly and purposely missing the point again. So if youāre not a Farage fan boy why are you so keen to portray antisemitism as a victimless crime? Itās a weird stance by any measure, unless of course youāre an antisemite yourself, how else would you explain your dismissal of the victims.
I was born in 1973 and left school in 1989. If you think it didnāt happen youāre living in fantasy land. It most certainly did. Not just in day to day life either, watching spitting image portraying the Irish as potatoes, which of course spilled over into the playground. Along with the constant the Irish are thick jokes on the TV and then in the playground. Your family are terrorist was another constant along with fuck of back to your own country. Didnāt matter that I was from a Northern Irish Protestant family so therefore British and that my family were victims of terrorism as Iām also from a military and RUC family. Racists donāt tend to be too smart.
Someone, might have been Maitlis, said in a talk they gave that the way balance worked was that both sides are given equal airtime.
So if you had one point of view supported by 90% of experts in whatever field was being discussed you had to give equal representation to the 10% viewpoint.
Obvious problem with that is minority or marginal views are presented as equally valid as the mainstream consensus.
Sorry, you still havenāt clarified. Do you think antisemitism is a victimless crime?Spectacularly and purposely missing the point again.
I'd also say that if 'the Irish are thick' jokes were the brunt of it, then that must have been traumatising. Ffs, it's about as relevant as being ginger or wearing glasses, if you're comparing it to racism you haven't a clue what others endured. I also was at school same time and I never heard or even heard of people telling Irish to go home, stop pretending to be a victim. I'd suggest supporting Liverpool then you could use their football forum not to discuss football too. Paddy and Murphy jokes, absolutely. The scars must run deep.
Say what you like about Farage, heās been a serious politician for 10+ years and whenever heās on TV on BBC QT or other flagship shows, he has a good grasp of whatever heās talking about. He was a hypnotherapist (I donāt think he charged for the boob enlargement session but thatās weird and makes you wonder what he has charged a lot of people, many of whom were probably desperate, for). He switched from Lib Demās to Greens when he wasnāt selected and heās now just been telling people what they want to hear when it comes to the economy/countries finances without knowing what the fuck hes talking about - it takes 30 seconds to google how much annual interest we pay and what BoE owns in gilts and that video indicates he canāt even be bothered to do that even though he seems to believe in/push a totally different monetary theory ?!
If someone sounds like a grifter and comes across as a grifterā¦.
As Larrygrayson said, him and farage are two sides of the same coin
Ffs you're tiresome. Love that you genuinely believe you're intellectually superior tooSorry, you still havenāt clarified. Do you think antisemitism is a victimless crime?
Talking of spectacularly missing the point my point is I remember it because it was personal. Same as Farages victims that you so wilfully dismissed. I personally donāt have scars but then again being Irish is nothing compared to being the relative of the holocaust and most likely being alive by the luck of your parents or grandparents not being one of the 6 million Jews killed by the man Farage took great glee in telling them that he got it right. Try engaging at least one of the few brain cells you have and you probably wonāt find it too hard to see why they remember. It was extremely personal to them for obvious reasons, try asking yourself the question why wouldnāt they remember.
I don't consider the second to be a full and happy life either. And how much 'self respect' do you have if you spend pretty much you entire waking life working while someone else gets even more money for doing nothing because they own a piece of paper saying they own shares etc. That is a far bigger problem than people on benefits watching homes under the hammer. Its not my Idea of a full and happy life Pete but to some it is.

Antisemitism not my thing, I prefer to leave that for Corbyn and his merry men. Hope that clarifies enough for you.
Yes, people would possibly remember stuff, but amazing it's all prominent now. You dont think if accurate, this would've all been dug up pre-Brexit? It's politically fuelled and you know it is.
You're relentless. For the hard of thinking (that's you), antisemitism isn't victimless.is that clear enough for you? You don't kniw what Farage has said to Jewish people.Sorry, you still havenāt clarified. Do you think antisemitism is a victimless crime?
Youāve also demonstrated your hypocrisy as well as your ignorance. Thereās zero evidence that Corbyn has said anything remotely close to what Ferage has said to Jewish people at any point in his life. Corbyn definitely turned a blind eye to antisemitism, much the same as yourself.
A spanner?He made a right tool of a PM I suppose
We do though. His numerous victims have been very clear, concise and consistent between the victims of what he said. Youād rather believe and repeat the mealy-mouthed excuses Ferage has used. Shame on you.You don't kniw what Farage has said to Jewish people.
Personally couldnāt live with myself going from cradle to grave on handouts never having worked a day. Maybe i am a bit old fashioned like that.I don't consider the second to be a full and happy life either. There's a strong argument that the increasing greed of the top 1 or 2% is causing an increase in those not working because why would they want to work themselves into an early grave to barely be able to keep their head above water and for younger generations home ownership is a pipe dream now for most.
It's nuts also becausethis story is pretty nuts. the regulator cut several services, essentially because they are incapable of running the service on time.
it seems they didn't think to check with anyone how that would work in practice. what they actually created was a situation where the train, as well as the staff to run the train, would all be in Manchester so the service would have to run anyway, with no passengers, to get the train and staff to London to run the next service on the timetable.
decision has been reversed for this line but there's others with the same issue

Plans to ban passengers from the peak train service between Manchester and London are abandoned.www.bbc.co.uk
I don't think that's old fashioned, I think thats normal. In the larger scale UBI trials the percentage of people not working doesn't shoot up. Most people want to work and contribute to society, they just want to feel what they are doing is worthwhile and be adequately rewarded.Personally couldnāt live with myself going from cradle to grave on handouts never having worked a day. Maybe i am a bit old fashioned like that.
Yep, the supposed nationalising of rail is nothing of the sort. They aren't even attempting to do anything about the ROSCOs and little more than nothing about the failing infrastructure. It's nuts also because
1. Labour has no real plans to make any substantive changes to the franchises, they're just not operated privately. They'll continue to be misaligned.
2. Labour has no plans to reinstate the Northern leg of HS2 to increase capacity on this line.
But there is a difference between never having worked a day and feeling your working all the time to enrich others. Sure there are some that want to game the system but on the whole if people feel it's worth their while they want to work and feel they're contributing.Personally couldnāt live with myself going from cradle to grave on handouts never having worked a day. Maybe i am a bit old fashioned like that.
I dont have an issue with people playing the stock markets. At least they are paying their way tax wise.
As for People not wanting to work because some people are greedy at the top, itās just an excuse not to work. Add it to their other excuses on the list of reasons why they cant/wont.
