yep, and more time will be wasted sorting this mess out when we should be concentrating on making sure it never happens again.

“it never happens again” is classic politician speak for not giving a fuck but getting a big noise from the chamber

Of course it will happen again

Covid inquiry has been interesting watching the Criminal Clown back in the spotlight. Whole bunch of the Tories in charge at that time will get away with having done outrageous stuff, but that prick told barefaced lies to Parliament and got away with it after people were being barred from funerals and other once in a lifetime events.

Justice is only there for the rich and powerful in this country.

Do you accept these girls were targeted as they were white?

The victims believe that

Reports say they were and I've got no reason to doubt it so Yes, I accept it. I'm not sure what your angle is here and why you're reaching for a gotcha.

People had it far worse than me - as you say not being able to attend funerals etc - so I'm not looking for sympathy, but I was only able to see my newborn baby for 2 hours a day while she was in hospital. Meanwhile those cunts were having parties in Downing Street.

Clutching at straws pal.

Not really. I see Christian preachers shouting at folks about how they're going to hell most times I'm in town. I grew up watching Catholics and Protestants doing their thing in Ireland and over here. I see people claiming Christian values while being grim nationalists more and more in different countries. Not sold on the 'Christians seem chill' meme.

Sorry to hear that mate. Had same trouble with the hospital, except it was with my Dad. Got taken in Christmas Day when it was peak covid, no visits allowed at all.

To this day we don't really know what happened to him in there other than the fact there's something they are hiding. First couple of days he was chatting on the phone like normal then all of a sudden he had no clue what was going on.

Then he got stuck in there for a couple of months because they said he needed to go into care and there was nowhere for him to go. Finally got him in a care home and he had to go through a quarantine period so we couldn't see him there either. Was mid-March before we got to see him.

Then you've got people going round saying 'nobody cares about parties'.

Ever sat down and read the Old Testament? Looked into all the abuse carried out by paedophile priests?
Agree that there's a lot of violence and ugly stuff in most religious texts. However, the big thing that separates 'The West' is that the Enlightenment happened and flourished and this is arguably the most consequential and important movement in world history. It's where Western Europe and the Middle East diverge massively.

Reasonable assumption to assume it's still ongoing in other areas. plenty of accusations against the Met and London councils covering up historic and ongoing scandals.

You say this, but my post is also referring to things that are still or at least very recent problems. Sexual abuse by those in the church being a bare minimum.

Don’t stop trying to press them for the truth, I’ve read your wider issues regarding your dad’s care and he’s been messed around to absurd extents going off what you’ve written.

By comparison our own biggest complaints from that time are minor. We had our wedding planned for x date in July. Johnson decides to push the dates back further for allowing more than x people at weddings by a few days beyond this, so at the last minute we push it back by a week. In the intervening week my gran has a sudden heart attack and dies, while Johnson is having BBQ parties at No. 10 and allowing 80,000 into Wembley for the Euros.

I have never forgiven him for this.
