Two/thirds of our starting midfield out and the first XI still looks good, plus good options on the bench. Our midfield depth is great at the moment.

If torp becomes the new sheaf in terms of injury record we definitely have to act during the January wi dow
We've got great cover already here .
We've got BTA to drop into the no10 spot, then there's Rudoni to come back in, then Allen and Eccles.

Your not going to attract another top quality player when they know they arnt going to get enough minutes.

Today's midfield 3 is still the best in the league even without Rudoni and Torp. That's why we let Sheaf go. And Allen has the advantage of having fresh legs against a Watford side who played on Wednesday. His fresh legs could make all the difference.

I agreed with this post until you said it's still the best midfield 3 in the league... Considering there are only 2 midfielders and one of them is Allen I'm not sure.

Allen is a solid player at this level and should still be enough to get a result today hopefully.
