Wouldn’t even get on our bench
All this proves is that you are shit at orediction...
Is that mackem speak?
This - has long been the case. I'd say among the quietest fans per numbers. Portsmouth travel in much fewer numbers yet are probably the most vocal in the league.
Depends on the angle you see it at?
It was clear from where I sit, just to right if halfway line.
Dead in line with it. Shame the lino wasn't
That the fat one?
No the other one
I think if that happens then the league positions for promotion and relegation should stand, as for the play-offs, play behind closed doors.
It's to far into the season to cancel it.
There is no game in hand on Portsmouth
There will be soon. They play a couple of midweek games next couple of weeks.
As i say I bow to your far superior knowledge
I still don’t get how Marosi was the only player booked
Wouldn’t be fair to chalk off the season
Everything Sunderland do comes through Gooch and Maguire, we got the goal early today and then put the task to them to do something when we take those two out of the game. They couldn't do it. That is a template for other teams to beat them.
Maguire is easy to wind up too
People were saying that Kelly was poor but every time Maguire got the ball in the first half Kelly was on him. He was definitley doing a job there today.
He isnt playing poorly. Its judt cov fans need something to moan about at all times it seems
Clean sheet today. Where have all thebdrop mcallum for giles posters gone? Lol
The fans behind me were awful at him all the time
Kelly clearly isn't playing to the standard he was earlier in the season, it's not moaning to mention it and discuss it. I personally think it's down to fatigue or an injury, but it's madness to expect people not to mention it.
Robins obviously thinks that a half fit Kelly is worth playing so that's fine by me but his performance level had definitely dropped.
There were a number of misplaced passes from him yesterday and let us not forget, there have been games in the past where he has ran the show and been outstanding, so I don't think it is asking too much to expect a better performance from him.
We know he has it in his locker.
He didn't play like anything like to the standard we know he is capable of yesterday.
As said above, even if Kelly is slightly injured/fatigued, he still warrants a place on the pitch.
So much defensive organising is done by Kelly and Fadz its ridiculous.
Yes Kelly was quite sloppy in possession yesterday but when he doesn't play at all we are even worse in general.
Think it’s just three games over the next three weeks which will hopefully give all the players a bit of a breather.
Gutted to have got knocked out of the cup but got to say, finances aside, happy enough that it’s happened now
I guess the question is would it be worth resting him for a game or two and if so are there games we could manage without him?
If so it’s probably the two game’s after Ipswich
Mcfadzean second half was quite frankly magnificent
I totally get that argument and that's probably why MR leaves him in.
When we conceded that sloppy goal against Rochdale he went round the players dishing out bollockings and geeing them up, being a captain basically.
Just don't think it's moaning to discuss his clear dip in performance levels.
Yep, similar. Stone wall penalty, both arms extended into Kelly's back else he'd have had an almost unchallenged header.
Difficult for the ref to see & linesmen don't like making those (or any!) decisions. Infuriating at the time, thankfully we were good enough anyway.
He also gets in the ref’s ear the whole time. Learned a lot from Doyler.
Re: Kelly - definitely not been at his best lately but, although we have other midfielders, nobody else quite does the same role. Hopefully with a slightly lighter schedule now coming up, he'll be back to his usual standards.
I was critical of Kelly against Rotherham but he’s a big part of our formation.
I question whether he’s Championship ready but is definitely an important piece to this squad
Kelly fills that hole in front of defence superbly. We let hardly any goals in apart from a couple of recent keeper errors. I’m not sure who we have to do that job if he’s not there. He is crucial to Robins preferred method of play and probably first name on the teamsheet he might not be the quickest of our midfield but he’s always there doing his job whether the first minute or last.
Separate names with a comma.
