Not sure about the 2nd one but the first could well have been given.
We have gone from scoring in the last 5 minutes to scoring in the first 5.
Both make me feel like im going to have a heart attack
That wasnt a penalty defdender got the ball. But the nudge in the six yard box and the handball were better shouts for Coventry.
Definitely. I am an advocate of accidental handball, but many officials would have given that as a pen.
I’m at the airport at the moment. I’m hoping to watch it when I’m home. Sounds like we really put in a shift at the back. I have a silly question what was the attendance?! I have a bet with a W<€<~p fan that we will have a larger attendance at St. Andrews for this game than they did at their last home game...
We'll come unstuck eventually but with the cushion building up we can actually afford that
Yep. I think the ref missed a few/let things go a little. The booking on Marosi was ridiculous. I also thought it looked like it could’ve been a push on Kelly.
Agree that this was a pen. Don’t think the handball was. Similarly, their shout for a pen was a legitimate one.
Ozturk's "handball" may have been, depending on how the referee interpreted the rule:
The following handball situations, even if accidental, will be a free kick/penalty:
The ball touches a player’s hand/arm which has made their body unnaturally bigger
The following will not usually be a free kick/penalty, unless they are one of the above situations:
The ball touches a player’s hand/arm directly from their own head/body/foot or the head/body/foot of another player who is close/near
The ball touches a player’s hand/arm which is close to their body and has not made their body unnaturally bigger
From the players positioning, I'd be more inclined to say it was not a pen, based on the first of the 2 no penalty rules above. His arm was not overextended and he was almost directly behind the Cov player, giving him little time to move his arm away from the ball.
But we won. Time to move on.
We now have the longest unbeaten run in English football.
Going to bed. What an amazing day.

Can't stand many more tense days like that!
Only 11 more of them to go!
Great game that was. Atmosphere was better, thought we looked composed and largely in control. Some massive performances out there.
Time to believe?
A week off it well earned this week.
Few players look like they need some rest.
He has a tenacity and energy way above this level.

Victor meldrews son !!
I went to the game with a neutral, and agreed we were the better team and Sunderland didn’t offer that much. Their best chance was the goal that was offside - he called the offside as soon as he seen it.
We’re all a bit bias to our own team, but again, he felt like we had an obvious penalty shout denied.
3 points and top of the table. What a great day!
Which line in the skyblue song is this.... knobheads at the bbc at it again.

Just had a quick read of RTG. Any player or manager getting involved there has no chance at all with the entitled simpletons.
Shit! They've given Clive the Internet password
I think it's in the Fairplay version: "We will never dive."
Yes, 10 wins and 3 draws from 13 games isn't luck
Surely that helps put to bed the argument people had about Willis being better than our back 3.
Agreed thought he was poor with poor passing wouldn’t get near our side
Just watched back the offside goal. How was the lino even questioning whether it was an offside or not? Sun in his eyes or not, it was blatant!
Exactly, now I've seen it I can't see how it was even questioned
I assume he thought the deflection was off a defender or none at all. The referee really was only influenced by the voracious appealing I suspect - 9 timed out of 10 it would have stood
They were speculating the sun was in the Lino's eyes so he couldn't tell if the offside player touched the ball.
Christ, get a hat then.
