The bench doesnt look like we have much in the way of game changing

Our wings are going to be quite weak whichever CM plays out wide. Wonder why Allasani didn’t get the nod? Not even in the squad either?

Sam McCallum. Where’d he come from? Has he even appeared in Checkatrade?

He's a left back isn't he? Bit of an odd choice for the bench, even if there's an injury with Grimmer and Davis both on the bench things could be reshuffled.

Shame not to see Allasani even in squad.

Not seen Westbrook play though so hopefully it's a great debut

Chance for westbrooke here to make a name for himself. Mccallum supposed to be a very good prospect also. Let's hope we go 2 up as if we need a goal, there ain't much on the bench

McCallum, Doyle and Andreu on the bench too.

Brown not in the squad.

That's some bench.

Either injuries, illness, or mass rebellion in the ranks.

I'm going for the latter, cos it makes the threads a lot more feisty and conspiratorial.

Game Tuesday too so it may be managing the squad

Haha, of all the connotations, did any of us have that team as a prediction?

Based on the fact it isn’t JCH or Doyle, and Westbrooke is an unknown quantity, it’s not a bad choice.

Bench is limited, but McCallum is supposed to be a pacey winger isn’t he? And Andreu, for all his lack of mobility, is technically a very good player.

Let’s just hope we attack! If we do, 2-0.

Got to agree with this. The games are coming thick and fast at the moment.

Would be interesting to see how the new lad does.

Thanks. Not as exciting a choice then.

Didn’t we sign a non league winger in the summer?

Looking forward to seeing Westbrooke make his league debut, was touted as in the mould of Bayliss when he signed.

McCullum is an overlapping type full back with plenty of pace and a decent cross from the U23 games I've seen him in
I'd guess he was a winger in junior football
Westbrook was outstanding in the U23 game v Burnley at the Ricoh a few months back where we came back from 2 down to win 3 2
Played in central midfield that day carrying the ball forward and spraying passes around

I think McCullum is a very attacking wing back, I think Westbrook will start on the won't but interchange with Bayliss,

Sterling and Mason are very attacking so Kelly sitting and they both boom on?

Kelly holding with full backs and midfielders pushing on is exactly what we should be aiming for. If Westbrooke is as good on the ball as has been touted, then him and Bayliss on form with movement around them is an exciting prospect.

Robins must have been listening to the crouch pocast - is going for the tortoise formation

Westbrooke right and Bayliss central? Or vice-versa?

Will be interesting to see if Westbrooke just slots in and can get forward as well

Pitch looks atrocious. The joys of sharing with the local rugby team.

They look quite route one.

Think they are supposed to be over the top for Hiwula, but we’re too slow moving it so they end up being in the air for headers we’ll never win.

Simon Cox (their 10) needs taking out.
