thanks for that, not sure what it has to do with anything I said but thanks anywayOnyeka at least covered the ground in the game and in the first half was constantly trying to cover.
The goal is to get to 40 points as soon as possible. This is a game at home against a relegation rival. Lose it and they are closer to safety than us and 6 points ahead of us. Win it and we’re on level pegging. Must make the most of our home games. How can the second game of the season be a must win? The other season palace lost something like 7 in a row and even last season villa didn't score for about the first 5 games
Think he might go with BentleyTough game. Said in another thread that this will be a war and our boys need to be up for the fight. I know that its only the 2nd game but this feels like a massive one. Heart is saying a 2-0 win, but got a feeling it will be a scrappy, frustrating no or low, score draw.
Irrespective of any incomings:
Rushworth
MVE ~ Thomas ~ Amenda ~ JDS
Onyeka ~ Grimes ~ Caleb
Sakamoto ~ Awoniyi ~ EMC*
*Loum if EMC not fit
Wilson
KKH
Lati
Kitching
Loum
Cherif
Simms
Hamer
Rudoni
Looks a stronger bench and no place in matchday squad for Eccles, Torp, Bidwell, BTA, Andrews, Bentley, Woolfenden, Wright (obviously)
They weren't in the PL Their stadium was bouncing against MUHull sold the 3K allocation. I wonder how many of them were sold after the Utd game. They normally don’t even bring half that amount.
Every Prem game is on Canal+. On the 3pm kick-off they do a channel where all the games are on and it switches to the game where something has just happened.Of course not it’s 3pm Saturday so in the blackout but there will be lots of foreign streams available.
Can't see them doing anything but parking the bus and then trying to hit us on the break. An early goal for us would be perfect. It would get the crowd on their toes creating a massive noise after our 1st Prem goal in a long time. We would then be able to get rid of our negative GD.Out of their back five that started again Man Utd four of them had to come off with potential injuries so lets hope they are all out as otherwise I think they will come here and try to park the bus and catch us on the break with one chance falling to McBurnie
We paid a record fee for Yirenkyi for a reason, we should back the recruitment imo.
Man city could do with 3 bearing they've got us next.A win Saturday can boost us up half the league! We could really do with 3 bearing in mind we have Man City next

Think he's struggled first two games and needs time to get up to speed. Hull are effectively a Championship side at the moment so playing our proven Championship midfield against them feels like a good idea.Dropping Yerinkyi really?
He was very good today. Great assist. He does everything Grimes does better.Think he's struggled first two games and needs time to get up to speed. Hull are effectively a Championship side at the moment so playing our proven Championship midfield against them feels like a good idea.

White man, just past my 60s. No he wasn't, playing Saturday,me thinks, based on his performance against ArsenalThank you Mr Simms. Was your son disappointed not to play today?
I thought they were both as bad as each other on Friday tbh. Picking Onyeka purely based on continuity from last season vs a familiar opponent.I would play Yerenkyi over Onyeka , I thought he was very poor Friday night
Torp must be pushing for a place too ?I thought they were both as bad as each other on Friday tbh. Picking Onyeka purely based on continuity from last season vs a familiar opponent.
Simms is mixed race and had a Polish grandparent. I don't think you being white excludes you from being (obviously) related to himWhite man, just past my 60s. No he wasn't, playing Saturday,me thinks, based on his performance against Arsenal

Lone striker, held ball up well, won fouls. Not far off a penalty. Defended headers well. Layed the ball off wellWhat did you think Simms did so well against Arsenal?
