Think they said 26, it slowly filled up and I reckon about 21-22.

I dont get why Shipley started as number 10 with Bright on the left. Then they switched a bit.

We then had Shipley and Westbrooke in midfield and then Shipley and Bayliss.

I'd guess 18k.

Tbh, I thought we played well. Should have won.
Missed way too many chances. Baka missed a sitter (or 2- don’t know if it was hiwula who missed the shot bright scored from)
Bright clearly has quality but his decision making is crap at times.
Attacking players want one too many touches and let the chances escape them.
Awful mistake by Willis for the goal.
Meyler I thought looked good missed the experience when he went off.
Bayliss pussied out a few times. Needs to grow a pair if he wants to be the full package.
Hiwula I thought was largely ineffective and isn’t suited to playing up top on his own.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

All that flurry of transfer activity, and we still go out and do exactly the same as before. Dominate possession, look good and in control, miss chances and look toothless at set pieces, defensive fuck up and we don't win. We should've won that by 3 or 4 IMO.

We did seem to be more willing to shoot from distance but so many blocked shots. Whether it's their lack of confidence or the state of the pitch or a bit of both, but those extra touches are costing us. Either way it's clear that these strikers have a problem and we need to bring in a strikers coach.

I thought Hiwula as a lone striker was also very odd. Hiwula was taking too long with chances and Baka missed a couple of good chances too when he came on (though Bright put one of them away)

I'd love to know how many of Thomas's shots are on target, going past the far post and going past the near post. It almost seems like he's aiming for outside the post.

Was surprised by the left hand side pairing, especially in a 4-2-3-1 - seemed a very odd choice. If MR doesn't think McCallum can cope on his own you either have to play Shipley LM in a 4-4-2 or tell one of either Meyler or Westbrooke to cover McCallum and let someone more attacking play the wide left role in the 3 behind the striker.

Annoyed, frustrated but not surprised. We might look like a decent side but if you draw games you should win and lose games you should at least draw you're going to struggle.

I really don't know who I'd play up front anymore - I've no faith in any of them to score.

The ending was obviously incredibly frustrating, but I’m really not sure how that equates to relegation fodder or a team destined for the drop.

We aren’t getting outplayed, we aren’t getting battered, we aren’t even getting dominated every week, we let ourselves down with missed chances and individual errors.

Christ, imagine the reaction if we lost today.

I’ve seen us in much worse situations than we are in now. I appreciate ultimately it’s all about the wins, but we’re by no means a million miles from that. Our issues can be rectified.

Not saying we are going to be relegated but it's not just about today. Our run of form is absolutely shocking and it's been the same for a fair few weeks.

You'd have thought someone by now would've taken Thomas aside and just told him that wherever it is he aims at the goal, just aim it 2 yards further inwards. Like that old Simpson's episode where Marge is taught how to bowl by the French guy.

I'd say at most 20,500 with 200 from Gillingham. But who can blame people for not turning up? It was bloody cold this afternoon. Free ticket or not, I understand people not going. If I wasn't already financially committed, I'd have stayed at home. In fact, I'd probably have paid £5 not to go.

And so it begins again. The posters who only appear after a poor result banging the Robins out drum.
Ffs we ain’t a prem club anymore, have owners who ain’t interested and have moved up a league. The aim this year is to stabilise and progress. Yes we aren’t scoring and oh dear Robins has bought a couple of players who haven’t produced the goods like every other football manager does.

We would all have been happy to avoid relegation this season at the start so suck it up and look forward to next season if we are still in existence

That's a huge H&S violation! How did they all fit in - people standing on the concourse with people on their shoulders and people on their shoulders like an acrobatic troupe?

Annoys the hell out of me that Robins insists on bringing a striker on and putting Hiwula out on the left.

We’re at home playing one up front!

Also what is with the constant need to play backwards, a few times we were nearly caught out playing it back when there was at least 2 other options going forward. Willis was under no real pressure to play that back to Burge for the pen.

Not a lot that Robins can do about missed chances but we went one up and almost looked like we wanted to hold out til the end

Possibly not rectified with the strikers we have, need to do something else...big big gamble playing David Bremang up front but atm theres nothing to lose because even if he don't score it would only be the same as it is now

We scored a min later and missed a couple of great chances after that.

It was just one mistake from a defender that cost us other than the misses

I agree the form is awful, but we aren’t playing awfully, so there’s hope we’ll turn a corner. The year with Mowbray/Slade it was obvious we were going one way, our squad was weak and our style of play was a million miles from winning us games.

Whereas, this season we have a strong squad and we are creating chances, all we need is a few to go in and things suddenly change. There are signs of hope.

Genuinely don’t get that one? Surely my expectations are “great” in the context of the discussion, as I don’t think we’re going to get relegated?

Yes I mentioned similar on a previous thread. I think he’s seen as being some way off the first team, but if he’s scoring regularly it might be worth a few substitute appearances.

Ponticelli should be way ahead of Bremang. Ponticelli is older and has been scoring for years in the U23s and has even scored a few for the first team when he's been given a chance.
Of course after he scored. he was immediately dropped by Robins.
