This is only -1 goal difference. You’re mad if you don’t want to protect that.

Why not throw Davies up front for some presence? You can't pass through teams with 10 men

Or sub him off for an outfield player, proceed as usual.

You're not seriously suggesting it's better to protect a goal difference in favour of at least a point?

unusual game that. Thought we looks good first 10 and then Burge kicked the ball out unchallenged and it started from there, heads seem to drop.

Not sure how long we can carry a keeper who isn't prone to the "odd" mistake, it's when, not if.

Had a real opportunity tonight to close the gap, didn't take it.

Terrible clearance but why on Earth is Kelly passing it back to him with all the time in the world. Can’t give them a goal down to 10 men just awful

Just watched it again. Kelly had a man right on his back, his options were either a simple pass to Burge or possibly/probably giving them the ball to walk in and score

Gotta hope teams fuck up tomorow. Huge opportunity wasted. And burge signed him own death warrant with the fans tonight

An absolute horror show tonight. I have no idea what team turned up? They were making mistakes left right and centre, with just about all of them culpable. To top it all we have a sending off, several injuries and just made the playoff chance look far less likely in one simple 90 minutes.
Burton came with a strong arm plan and we allowed them to succeed at it. If I was MR's they would all be back for circuit traing tomorrow morning.

And for those saying get behind the players, don’t criticize them etc etc as though we’re hurting their feelings:
If you pay for something, you’re allowed to criticize it, whatever it is. It’s not like they’re local children or something that you turned up to watch at a park.

Forever grateful for Burges play off performances last year but I think tonight sealed his fate. Need a better keeper 100% if we ever want to go up. So hesitant with absolutely everything!
If Thomas' shot goes in off the post we win that game no worries.
Horse shit ref.

Some bloke trying to sell coke by the train station. Bloke tells the police. Police follow him for about one minute then give up and turn back.

About as pathetic as our performance.

Too many days like this to mount a serious challenge this season. To be fair though under the budget constraints of this club we would have a horror season in the championship

So much for the positive business in the January transfer window. Remove a striker and bring in a player whose washed up (big surprise) and is incapable of playing

Thats the problem for me. I'm sure he can kick, catch, come out etc but he looks like such an anxious keeper and its just underpinning everything he does.

Is it time to give Corey Addai a go, He’s our only other option, 21 and regular on the sub bench.
