Got out of jail. Poor performance but won.

Lol at all the folks who thought we would beat this cannon fodder 5 nil.

Don't quite work like that. At times we were lucky we didn't lose.

dunno about that but he did get the better at times... to be fair though rose has been one of the unsung of the season I feel. Doesn’t get mentioned that often but puts in solid performances most weeks, and every player has a game or two where they lose a battle or two through

So out of character based on all performances this season. Suspect he wasn’t quite right

Agree which is why I was shocked by his performance today. He was at fault for goal. Before that should have been sent off. He had an injury last game. Liked well off pace. Even his headed clearances were poor.

Just look at today a ratings. General consensus by far the worst player.

Not reading the whole thread but saw some comments after I last posted just before they equalised.

Embarrassing. Again...yes we're not fucking Barcelona and win by 5 or 6 but we grind our results.

28 games and we've been beaten just three times. Is Robin's really being petulant with last seasons top scorer?

Who knows. Right now, hes continuing a great job of taking us closer to the Championship. Some fans really need to look at the bigger picture and not get bogged down in team selections, substitutes, ability of our forward line etc.

You're not qualified. And MR has us potentially top.

Massive drama queens.

And yes I've had a beer x

No way he was right. Rate Rise highly. But if an anateurs like us can see it why can't Robins??

Where has this idea come from that berating & slagging off the team and the manager during the game does anything productive?

Yes. The merciless treatment handed out to at least one player (if not more) per season has always dumbfounded me. Nobody but absolutely nobody improved their game by being booed by our own supporters. Kevin Klye being a prime example.

He’s been great this season and if he said “I’m fine boss”, he will likely go with it.

Goodness me, some incredibly embarrassing posts on this thread.

I genuinely don’t understand why some people support us. This season has shown it more than any other, as we’re doing well and people are still looking for ways to moan.

Yes, we were poor today, but we won. We’ve also played incredibly well and won. Thats the sign of a top team. We’ve lost three all season and are 5 points off play offs with 2 games in hand.

Analyse and critique the team sure, but there’s too much effort to be negative it’s embarrassing. Go back and read some of the in game posts, especially once they scored.

It’s especially embarrassing for some as they show themselves to have a very poor football knowledge over and over again.

Not even going to start on the comments re the Portsmouth game. Incredible!

Last 3 league games we have won nowhere near our best. Long may that continue.

These 3 points are valuable enough to think 1 point vs Pompy I'd be content with if we play shit again.

Not really mate. I know it fits your agenda to try to stir stuff up but I'm quite positive about how things are going in general. Wasn't great today, but we won. I still maintain we are a bit short of firepower up front, but everything else is excellent. Enjoy that rather than trying to score cheap points on the internet against people you don't know.

It’s typical football fan behaviour. I don’t know why people act like we’re the only ones where people get pissed off and vent when we concede/play badly?

I was at a Man City game and one of the fans nears me shouted that they were shite when they conceded and that they needed to stop passing it around at the back. Man City, one of the best teams the country has ever seen.

I was a Spurs game and after 15 minutes the guy in front for me stood up and shouted at Christen Eriksen calling him a “lazy c**t”. This was years ago when he was their best players and they won that game 3-1.

Face it, everyone on here wants us to win football matches and play well and this is a football forum, a place specifically designed to solely talk about Cov. Of course people are going to use it to vent when we’re losing/playing badly. I seriously doubt whoever was calling Robins a prick for not making sub earlier actually thinks that, people just want to vent. Now, I agree that there is a real problem with how far people take it inside the ground and some of the stuff shouted at players is unnecessary and not helping in the slightest, but venting your frustrations on a online message board at the exact moment we concede is just that to most people, a release of said frustration.

I know I’m known on here as one of the more negative posters, call it natural pesimissim born from only ever seeing us struggle in the Championship and League One, but in the stadium you support the boys 100%.

Think most fans are loving the season, enjoying a lot of the football we play, pleasantly surprised at how resilient this young side are and how they come back for the most part... yes we could be run away winners if we put away half the chances we create, and yes we might bring that up at times and might post our view on what was wrong in certain matches... but any realistic fan must be Estatic with mark robins sky blues ( and ady vivash I might add, as I’m sire like most strong double acts he is instrumental in where we are and how we play - if only for bringing in dabo!! )

I love my missus, I love my kids, but I moan at and about the buggers every day. We are human and we are passionate about the things we love

My Wycombe supporting mate joked that we left it late to grab the win. I said we played pretty poorly and gave them too many chances. His response is interesting, saying: ‘it’s about winning the games where you’re playing shit’ and added that he reckons we’ll win the league.

From that perspective, today is the typical kind of game where we would have not won, or even lost in past seasons.

This team has a knack of just getting the job done, even if it isn’t pretty. Credit where it’s due.

Portsmouth for me, but we'll be there or thereabouts. There are 3 or 4 very good teams in this division, including us. Can't all go up. Big few games coming up the next few weeks.

Yes you do. Game wasn’t even over and you were slating Robins- Grendel made a complete prick out of himself by demanding Hiwula come on and calling Robins an ‘arrogant twat’. (from inside the ground)- soon as the game finishes he’s nowhere to be seen and you’re all making out you’re delighted with how “excellent” things are.

Go reread that page- those people patently and obviously don’t know what they’re talking about. ‘Experts’ my arse.

I think if you read my comments generally on this forum it'll back up that I'm positive. Yeah, I was frustrated earlier and was maybe a bit OTT, but picking out one comment, which wasn't even slagging him off it was just an off the cuff comment about what he said after the Bolton game earlier in the year, just smacks of trying to pick fights and score points on the internet. It's a bit sad to be honest.

The only other thing I mentioned was that I thought Pompey would beat us comfortably. It's a bit of reverse psychology to myself, although I do think they're the best team in the league at the moment. I think we'll come up short on Tuesday but I'll be watching and will be delighted if we win.

the negativity frequently directed towards the players and management on this site is astounding, it encapsulates a complete lack of understanding and experience of the beautiful game. the likes of the sad prog rock has been, grendel demonstrates either a prejudice or lack of intelligence that is frankly beyond belief. we have a group of players and a manager that under rather difficult circumstances are not far off leading us to the championship. perhaps positivity and perspective are in order. FEAR.

I hope Chicago is ok for Tuesday - two matches this week he and Walsh coupled with either Kelly or Godden ran rings around the defence creating opportunities - add Dabo and Mcallums crosses we have the potential to take on anyone in this league and have a good chance of winning PUSB - very happy bunny tonight
