Think Frank will play a team similar to Brighton to get the result out of the system. Fear is that if Villa play a weakened side and we get a decent performance and result it papers over the deficiences, we go into Forest thinking we've got a handle on it and get a sharp shock that once again we haven't.

Personally I'd play all the new signings and would go 4ATB, but Grimes has to be dropped for us to do that. I'm at a point where I'd just let the players currently sitting on the bench have a go and see if they can force their way in. Those currently playing couldn't complain if someone put in a decent performance against Villa and was given a chance.

I can't see Mfuni playing as a centreback in a 2 in the league unless we have suspensions/ injuries.

Rivals come and go. Once upon a time it was Wolves, then Leicester, then Villa because they were a bogie team then we stopped playing them for a quarter of century and back to Leicester. My son is 22 and Villa utterly irrelevant to him. I probably hate Sunderland more than Villa

And 25+ years ago, Villa only saw us as a minor irritation (which they overcame by generally buying our players!) - the rivalry only really went one way from our side.

They're still good enough to slap us with their second string
They're local which will make a loss worse
We'll probably prioritise Saturday fitness wise so won't even be at full strength
