Get into them!

Even earlier than I expected! I at least gave you till kick off. I'm now reassessing my opinion and think you'll be outraged if Kelly doesn't go into the coin toss two-footed knee-high.

Can’t wait. New team. New ground. New season. No more ridiculous close season arguments about fuck all.

Philosoraptor is back with his charts, there’ll be player rating a threads tonight, and a completely meaningless league table to pore over.

Anything is possible and even if we are shit the transfer window is still open. And hopefully today sees that start of another Sky Blues fan proper.

Full of optimism I’m going 3-0 City. Baka, McFadzean and Biamou on as a sub.

Marosi
Dabo McFadzean Rose Mason
Kelly Pask Shipley
Jobello Baka Hiwula

S: Wilson, McCallum, Drysdale, Westbrooke, Ngandu, Biamou, Bapaga

Just noticed Bapaga has been added to the U23 and given no.41.

Bartlett also added at 39, as has Blaine Rowe (but no squad number allocated)

If we are solid in defence and don't lose for the first few weeks. Grind out draws or 1-0's till we get a striker, we will be OK.

Someone said yesterday there will be protestors outside urging people not to go in - I assume that’s bollocks isn’t it?

Meet me outside and I will hold your hand.

Yeah I know but it doesn’t mean we should be happy with a draw. We drew a lot of games that we should’ve won last season, doesn’t mean I started being happy about those results.

We lost the opener last year so a point would be an improvement.

I doubt he is from what little i have seen

I am abit worried. Robins lookes depressed in press conf. Says he needs 3 players

Me neither.

I’m not as confident as I was feeling a week or 2 back, but I’m still excited the footballs back. I’ll be watching tonight, see how we look.

Still should be enough to beat Southend
Would hope so. I still want autos

1 of auto teams bolton in disseray

Sunderland
Pompey
Ipswich

look to be main rivals for top 2

We can do this! Hopefilly defence will be better than last year with new keeper and we will take mote chances this yesr. Could add 10 to 20 more pts to total quite easily

I’m hoping it’s true - could be the most interesting bit of the whole day

If hiwula has a bad injury we will be in a relegation battle with this squad

Arrived in brum. What is with pre season that we lose a couple of probable starters before the first kick of the new campaign. Team doesn’t look all that strong on paper but somebody to step up and become a new hero.

I am not so sure about that but he would be a big loss. I thought you didnt rate him?

Can be argued keeper is better?
Defence prettt much same wirh mcfadz for willis. Dabo for sterling will be key
Midfield is same with allen for bayliss
And upfront we look a bit more dnagerous with new foreign wingers?

I think even with injuries we will ve top 12 no matter what personally

Alot of unknowns till we see them play of course

Relax, 2 more strikers coming in next week, Kastaneer could even be a given a chance up front if needed, and Ponticelli to come back at Christmas.
All is cool.

We certainly need at least a couple of additions...with or without hiwula we need more goals or we will not figure in the playoff race.

Off on holiday today so the ST has been passed on to a mate. Feeling optimistic despite the sales of Chaplin and Bayliss, feel could be a big year for Hiwula. Think it will be 1-0 to sky blues today.
