Kim Hellberg's opinion :-

“Second half, I think we are actually brilliant if we take away the two situations where they score their goals. Coming out, creating a lot of opportunities around the box.

So basically, ignore the 2 goals Cov scored and we get a draw 1-?? ok KIM, now back in your fucking box!!
And if you take away the bullets, the Kennedys had a lovely trip to Dallas...

Worth pointing out, Boro have one way of playing, which they are undoubtedly excellent at.

We have a fair few different ways of playing, which we can employ depending on the opponent (sometimes to great or sometimes to no success 🤣). That is one of the reasons we are where we currently are.

After yesterdays heroics, one to accompany Saka's take down!

If BTA was charged retrospectively with dangerous conduct, will anything happen to the Middlesboro player who deliberately stamped on Grimes’ ankle?

I'm astonished at how little we had the ball according to stats. It just didn't seem as one sided at the ground. Maybe it was purely that they were slower in their build up play?

I know it's stating the bleeding obvious, goals win games, not stats. 🤔

It’s right though, we did in one pass from rushworth what mboro couldn’t do in 30. No point in all that possession when there’s nothing at the end, looked like we defended a bit deeper maybe something we start doing away, just need a good win Saturday and that’s the momentum back , perfect time to find it again,

Well yeah did you notice, MVE wasn't marauding forward very much.

Until the Middlesbrough game, we only had one way. Thank the lord Frank and crew recognized a different path.

If we ignore all our goals this season boro would be on top with a healthy points difference

I watched the game back last night, how did Morris get away with 3 bad fouls whilst on a yellow card? The referee was very poor booking Sakamoto for winning the ball yet not booking Rudoni for a couple of poor fouls and a mouthing off at the referee in about 90 seconds. The co-commentator Sam Parkin kept saying that the EFL/FA should look at yellow cards afterwards to see if they should be overturned, they should also look at bad fouls that aren't punished & 2 of Morris' fouls were bad. I suppose after a poor performance nothing will happen to the referee 🤔

I knew there are a few nominations up there but I think Ive found the prize village idiot on the boro forum.

what a *** end to the winning run. to concede those two goals was shambolic and that handball call from the ref lol. his had is behind his body, dont know where else he can move at. if anything its moving away from the ball.
cov hoodoo continues. they have won their cup final when they fail to win away again all season, we will be laughing at them in the middle of the play off pack.

cov were ***, their game plan was try and boot us and play long balls. the got very fortunate to be gifted them goals. we had yet another crap day against them, everything just works out doesn't it. no tactical masterclass, no super football. a big boot forward for the second and first like their other half chances was all down to us trying to force it when playing out. time and a place for that. not early on in this game.

they looked like a bottom 3 side fighting for their lives. trash, no chance they will finish above us come may,

You've been advocating for a change of formation which hasn't happened. It was a few tweaks as what anybody with half a brain said was needed.
More than a few tweaks. High press,, defend deeper , we haven't done that all season. I said we should have tried 5 at the back on some of the away games, or even reverted to that away, when we get a lead, but hey let's not let the truth get in the way!

You would have started Simms on Monday I assume?

I would have Grendel, based on the difference between Wright last few months and Simms. It worked out, fair play, but it didn't work out in other 17 out of 19 games, where he didn't score a goal..Whereas Simms had scored 10 in 13 starts. You can claim that as a victory, but Simms was in form and dropped, then we lost lots of games.
