It was clearly a joke
Still cringy though.

I think it was said as a joke. The lads and lasses in Singers' Corner have demonstrated many times over the years that they're not the brightest, but the "top of the league and you fucked it up" chant surely takes the biscuit? I had to laugh out loud at them.
He was good enough for them until started spending a lot of money in his position. Isn't it strange how quickly supporters forget how he was one of the main players that helped them cement their place in the Prem.Brentford fans all said he wasn't good enough v Prem players, but fuck me, he'll overshadow any midfielders in this League
Ya don't tell me onyenka can't play in the premier league. Especially for a newly promoted teamHe was good enough for them until started spending a lot of money in his position. Bench looks miles better now before Xmas it had to made up with kids or two keepers named on the subs bench.Hopefully we maintain a fully fit squad now. Could be vital.
Having the team we had last night but also Esse, Markelo, BTA, Torp, Eccles, KKH, Kitching etc. as backups is immense.
Of courseFunny isn't it? Just been reading their forum on my lunch and they don't rate us at all. We are a one dimensional long ball team, a team of dirty foulers, just not very good and definitely not as brilliant as they are. I guess all forums are the same after a defeat.

No we normally slate our own team rather than the team we’ve playedFunny isn't it? Just been reading their forum on my lunch and they don't rate us at all. Whilst I would say football forums are not exactly known as a bastion of nuanced conversation, I think most football fans are the same.Funny isn't it? The fact you missed the joke probably demonstrates they are brighter than you big fella. The lads and lasses in Singers' Corner have demonstrated many times over the years that they're not the brightest, but the "top of the league and you fucked it up" chant surely takes the biscuit? For all the rubbish, Aiden Morris should have been definitely been sent off for then. Arguably straight red for deliberate shoulder/elbow into Rudonis cheek bone and if not a red should have definitely been a second yellow when he stamped on the back of Grimes foot.Funny isn't it? there's a lot of copium happening over there today, they don't rate us at all and they are the best team in the history of the World. We are big meanies for not letting them play how they want, and we're bullies for fouling them all the game HAHAHAHA!!Funny isn't it? Look at how many games he played for them. If he wasn't good enough he wouldn't have played anywhere near as many times as he has. He was their first Prem signing IIRC.Ya don't tell me onyenka can't play in the premier league. Especially for a newly promoted team
His performance in the AFCON semi final is well worth a watch. 2 hours straight of running up and down the pitchLook at how many games he played for them. If he wasn't good enough he wouldn't have played anywhere near as many times as he has. He was their first Prem signing IIRC.
At least he has shown the doubters how important he will be for us. Slotted straight into place in our biggest game of the season so far against the team in the best form. And to think he will only get better and also against lesser sides. He will do his best to get both us and himself back to the Prem where he belongs.
That's no bloody good. His performance in the AFCON semi final is well worth a watch. 2 hours straight of running up and down the pitch
Yes as soon as it was called he basicly told wright to do one and he took all the flack from Boro playersAn unappreciated moment from last night, apologies if it's already been covered: I fucking loved Josh Eccles' conduct around the penalty. He grabbed the ball and withstood the shithousing from the Boro players (who I guess thought he would be taking it), then when they were done passed it to Wright. Me and everyone around me was saying "surely Eccles isn't taking this" then realised what he was doing. Utter class.
Imagine being top mid Feb when we were thinking what was possible in August last yearWe, the fans, and the team should be greatly encouraged by our performance last night.
Onyeka played just the way we expected and brings a lot to the team. Haji put in a real shift and showed us his skill, especially for the second goal. An excellent all-round performance by the whole team.
If we can keep this up then the push for an automatic spot is most definitely on.
