How can Hull sign players thought they had a transfer embargo in place?

They are all "Free" Transfers

Can't do any incoming business that includes a fee.

Feels weird that it's back but as soon as it kicks off it'll feel like it's never been away.

But better than Kyle Joseph who has 0 goals from 16 games for us. In fairness Selles played him out wide for most of his time with us.

I have a real soft spot for Hull. My real Dad came from Hull and throughout the 70s I went to Boothferry Park so many times as we were always up there visiting family, they lived on Hessle Road. Can remember quite clearly seeing the trains arriving at the ground, which had its own train station. Watched the Humber Bridge being built over the years too. At the end of every year (maybe October?) we used to make a special trip up there as they had a massive Mop fair, which was always good fun. Fond memories. Still enjoy our trips up there, my lad and I went up for our game in April. Parents split in 79 so never went up there after that.

Cunts had better learn that the queue goes down towards the back of the restaurant then. Nothing worse than the away fans just walking up trying to get served.

I'd usually do a predicted starting XI at this point during the game week, but I get to thinking about who is starting upfront and my soul dies and drifts away.

Wonder if MVE will be involved? IF his move is close, then no, but may have just been hot air again?

Maybe, maybe not. A couple of years back, Hamer turned out against Leicester first game of the season and Wimbledon in the Cup. Then he was off, so who knows?

Dhillons I'd imagine. They'll happily take cash from away fans.

We have been spoilt in the last few years.... cast your mind back to some strikers we had a bit longer ago, your soul will quickly recover (e.g. I remember Clive Eakin - normally enthusiastic - quite clearly losing the will to live while trying to commentate on our efforts to attack when someone like Marcus Tudgay was brought on off the bench. Tudgay was by no means the worst either!)

I hadn't paid attention all summer,
But Simms for a brace, 3-0 win.

Also looking forward to Rushworth(?) debut in goalkeeper, should snag a few wickets if we can hold on til Tea
