Out of interest which clubs definitely have off field problems with cash or similar - Leicester, WBA, Sheffield Wednesday, who else?but i was told nobody had strengthened?
Hull are meant to be under a transfer embargo i believeOut of interest which clubs definitely have off field problems with cash or similar - Leicester, WBA, Sheffield Wednesday, who else?
Because in football it is always a huge risk standing still. There are a lot of unknown quantities in this league. I think we may be caught off guard by how good a couple of teams we dont expect are.How is it being spun that having more or less the same squad that finished 5th last year, is a bad thing?
I really don’t know what people expect? If we had sold Rudoni and bought 5 players in off that back of it I actually think people would be happier with that

Last year the league was pretty shit outside the top 3.
We've signed KKH who replaces MVE who we all expect to leave. So we have signed 3 players and kept our best players (so far).. and that’s standing still? Ok mate
The time to judge the state of the squad is when this window closes, not before. We've signed KKH who replaces MVE who we all expect to leave.
The keeper yes is an upgrade on paper, but again only a loan.

The problem to that statement, is that instead of the possibility of being on 12 points & still in the cup , we could be floundering again in mid table & beaten by a lower league side , for the umpteenth time !The time to judge the state of the squad is when this window closes, not before.
Yes its strange. We wanted a strong start for once, but some posters are happy with us not concluding our transfer business until theres been 12 points played for.The problem to that statement, is that instead of the possibility of being on 12 points & still in the cup , we could be floundering again in mid table & beaten by a lower league side , for the umpteenth time !
Not happy with it, I wanted a keeper in before any others so we wouldn't be seeing cock ups like we saw last week. But you objectively can't judge the transfer business until the window's shut.Yes its strange. No it wasn't you I was referring to anyway mate, I know you want more in.Not happy with it, I wanted a keeper in before any others so we wouldn't be seeing cock ups like we saw last week. But you objectively can't judge the transfer business until the window's shut.
I don't necessarily mind a slow couple of games at the start, that's always a bit of a funny time where you get odd results as some teams aren't quite as well prepared as others. No it wasn't you I was referring to anyway mate, I know you want more in.

Were you expecting us to start with 9 players?
I'm not sure there's a particular problem with the GK position as it stands,, that was a cock up for sure but in 3rd full stadium and a game that didn't matter in the ultimate end, I tend to agree if the players don't go off the boil which in theory they shouldn't he will ensure a ten points benifit by season's endNot happy with it, I wanted a keeper in before any others so we wouldn't be seeing cock ups like we saw last week. Sure, but mishaps are more likely with a keeper still getting used to his defence.I'm not sure there's a particular problem with the GK position as it stands,, that was a cock up for sure but in 3rd full stadium and a game that didn't matter in the ultimate end, I tend to agree if the players don't go off the boil which in theory they shouldn't he will ensure a ten points benifit by season's end
Anyone know how much longer Dovin is out for?
In total or for a further 6 months? Thought he'd only had a dislocated shoulder?About 6 months I think

A further 6 months and, ACL injury. In total or for a further 6 months? Thought he'd only had a dislocated shoulder?
We have Dovin. Happy with him but he is injured for however long it takes. We didn't need to buy another GK so we brought in Rushworth who is easily better than Collins and Wilson. We've signed KKH who replaces MVE who we all expect to leave.

Could be and will be are two totally different things. We could have signed lots of players and been worse off than what we will be. We're starting off with a squad that knows each other very well. The problem to that statement, is that instead of the possibility of being on 12 points & still in the cup , we could be floundering again in mid table & beaten by a lower league side , for the umpteenth time !
We have seen KKH in friendlies over. We cant say with certainty that hes better than MVE in any capacity yet.We have Dovin. Happy with him but he is injured for however long it takes. We didn't need to buy another GK so we brought in Rushworth who is easily better than Collins and Wilson.
We have brought in KKH. He looks better than MVE going forward. Defensively we will find out soon. But this player swap gives us a few more million to continue to strengthen. I'm happy with this.
I didn't say differently. I said he looks better going forward. Unless you have an agenda you would find it hard to disagree. Defensively? We are yet to find out. The speed of MVE is something you can't deny. Can KKH get back as quick? Which players has the least amount of brain farts? If anyone states as a fact one is better than the other I will point you in the direction of someone with an agenda or a liar. We honestly do not know.We have seen KKH in friendlies over. Based on what agenda? You've seen him for a few pre season games. I love how in your mind its set in stone that he IS better attacking wise, but you cant say for certain hes better defensively. Talk about framing something to support your point.I didn't say differently. I said he looks better going forward. Unless you have an agenda you would find it hard to disagree. Defensively? I've seen KKH get into scoring positions and scoring against very good opposition. I've not seen much of him defending like I've seen with MVE. Why is that so difficult for you?Based on what agenda? Milans xA last year was higher than KKH so the stats suggestion otherwise.
Didn’t he score against Bristol Rovers?I've seen KKH get into scoring positions and scoring against very good opposition. I've not seen much of him defending like I've seen with MVE. Why is that so difficult for you?
If KKH is superior then why did MVE have higher xA and the same goals scored? Why is that so difficult for you?I've seen KKH get into scoring positions and scoring against very good opposition. I've not seen much of him defending like I've seen with MVE. Why is that so difficult for you?
